After out very first visit to Albert's Schloss two weeks ago we were over the moon both with the venue and the food. The staff were very attentive and brought water and bread to the table immediately. So much so that when we were in Manchester yesterday we made a bee line for the restaurant. However, the second visit was completely different. We were shown to a table and just left for quite a while. A waitress then arrived and asked what we wanted to drink and as it had been so long we told her we were ready to order the food also. No mention of the water or bread. Just then, a guy was shown to the next table who most of the staff seemed to know. The guy then proceeded to flirt with one of the male waiters which made us quite uncomfortable. One of the waitresses actually went and sat with him at one point and the male waiter kept going over to the till and glancing over at the guy. The whole visit was not good and it will be a while before we try the restaurant again.

£7.00 for a pint of larger. Asked barman if this was correct and told it was, sat down and checked menu, same beer was £6.20( no band or music on so no £1.00 uplift) Last £ they ever get from me.

Dropped in on a Monday evening and was sat immediately by the hostess. Our server Antonio was brilliant, answered all our questions about the menu when they had out of stock items with recomendaciones that were superb. Really nice atmosphere, presentation of food was great, just wanted to highlight Antonio’s service as he treated me and my fiancé really well on our celebratory night! Would definitely come back

Exceptional food, service and staff. Definitely worth a visit, such a good environment and also dog friendly (at least when I went there it was. The truffle and Parmesan fries were on another level and so was the rest of the meal and brownie.Thank you Schloss!

First off, service from Toby was amazing. He is a credit to the establishment.Food was great, the Bier French Onion soup is a must (as recommended by Toby!). Great beer selection and good wine to match.Definitely worth a visit when you are in town.

Arrived in Manchester and needed a late lunch snack. My thanks to very efficient and professional staff in a pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. Thank you. I failed using a knife and fork to eat their 12hr Munich pork skillet toasted sandwich and resorted to fingers. Now need a bath

Lovely place. Nice vibes, bit loud once the evening progressed. Food was amazing, staff were lovely.. Bir rushed but it was the time if year. Had such a lovely time.i cabt wait to go back
The door staff's warm and courteous welcome created a positive first impression, with their smart and polite demeanor standing out. Their willingness to assist with photos added a personal touch to the experience, benefiting not only our selfs but many others as well. Moving inside, the impeccable service continued with a waitress who was not only attentive but also remarkably helpful. The combination of unreal food and a waitress with great knowledge of cocktails and wine contributed to an outstanding dining experience. Faultless service indeed, making it a credit to the business.

Great atmosphere, especially around Christmas with large open fires indoors. In the evening there's entertainment, but in this instance I went for lunch.We had a member of the party who had various allergies and the staff were helpful and friendly, helping her choose some safe options.Food was delicious!

Aggressive, rude bouncers, they seem to provoke people that are having a nice time to get them kicked out! Never seen anything like it to be honest! I think the owners of Alberts Schloss need to seriously do some background checks on their security staff, narcissistic behaviour at its finest!

Been here many times and used to love it, but recently visited for food and booked a table to do so, which I'd not done before - only been for drinks previously.They initially sat us in the wrong area, as we had been told that we'd be sat near the stage. Thankfully they moved us.Food was rather disappointing. Had the turkey as part of the festive menu, which was wasn't bad but was a little cold. Vegetables all served separately. It's a very small portion for the price and despite the menu stating "all the trimmings" there is no Yorkshire pudding or stuffing. Just think for £35 (2 courses) that you should get a bit more for your money. Apple strudel was nice though.Food service was rather slow, but our waiter was very friendly and did take regular drink orders.The biggest disappointment though was that we were told when booking that we could have the table for the entire night, but we were kicked out after 2 hours, thus sadly missing most of the entertainment which is what we came for.My dad had the same experience as this last week also for his work Christmas party.A once great place now seems to be going downhill. Good for drinks, but not good for food.
