Visited at Lunchtime, Staff very welcoming, nice clean surroundings, had Wanton Soup followed by Sizzling Beef with peppers & onions, lovely meal, 10% service charge without offer of paying or not, but lovely meal.
Doesn't look like much from the front but get yourself down those stairs for a nice warm welcome and, value for money, Chinese food. Service was quick and the food......... well next time I'm back in Manchester I'll be having at least one evening meal here.Vegetarian options: Clearly marked on the menu and quite a few choices.
There are better restaurants in Chinatown I recommend over this one. They did have genuine baiju for only £15 a bottle. Too little rice for the food we ordered, we had to order another portion. The main came served in a fruit ball cooked ok and not too spicy. The bill was a tad high there are places where you can get better quality food, service and atmosphere at a lower price. We went on a Saturday night and there were only a couple of other tables in. Says it in.
