“It was a cold and riany evening when we decided to visit Red Restaurant. The setting was perfect for our meal, as the hot pot was exactly what we needed to feel warm and comforted from the cold outside.
The owners of the restaurant were very friendly and also offered some food and tourist recommendations around Manchester. They were very attentive throughout the service. We ended up chatting with them at the end of the meal sharing travel and life experinences.
The food itself was perfect. We ordered the hot pot with a mild pork soup and a hot sichuan pepper-chilli soup. We experiemented with a few accompaniment combinations and enjoyed every bit of it. I would highly recommend having the aloe vera juice if going for the hot soup as it is the perfect contrast to the sichuan pepper corn flavour.
I can't recommend this palce enough for anyone who wishes to have a delicious comforting meal at a very affordable price. Will visit again when we travel to Manchester next.”
