The food was amazing. Marta our waiter, waited on us hand and foot. She ensured our drinks were always full, and the food was actually surprising.I will never forget this trip to Comptoir.

I came for iftar with my friend yesterday. As soon as we saw the place we were head over heels it’s like sitting in a colourful garden. Prior to coming we weren’t aware they also sold alcohol there which could be our fault for not thoroughly checking but it’s worth noting for other Muslims to be aware. The service was amazing, the staff did their best to accommodate us despite being extremely busy. There also wasn’t a place to pray maghrib but on my way to the bathroom there was a little nook opposite the bathroom and I got permission from a staff member to pray my fard there. The food was good but for the price, I was disappointed with the portion size. I order the chicken and olives tahini with couscous, as a morrocan I was surprised with this mix but when it came to it did taste good, still had an issue with the portion size tho it was enough for me but for something around £16 I expected more than a medium sized bowl of the ‘tagine’ and couscous. Still a good experience if you prefer the experience over the food. Tbf as I was fasting I hoped there would be more but even then generally I don’t think the amount I got was enough for an average person on an average day paying for a £16 main, not even a full meal like with a drink and side.
