Whilst the beginning of the evening wasn’t great, as there was no one at the host stand and who I assume was incharge, was quite unwelcoming and talking down to his staff, the girls, Athena and Cameron, on the bar were great and very helpful. Ben, kameron and Danielle were so polite and cleared the plates quickly and were making sure everything was okay with the meal, they even convinced us to get desserts. However, I did feel sorry for the poor girl on floor by herself at the end of the night and the tills were taken up before the last bell was rung and felt a little rushed out the place by the end of the night.

Really good value carvery, beef and gammon were excellent, turkey was a touch on the dry side but it didn't detract too much from the overall experience. Tables were clean and ready for new diners, no need to wait and the floor staff didn't seem overburdened or rushed. Bar staff had time for a quick friendly chat whilst pouring the drinks making the visit feel very warm and welcoming. Lots to keep the kids entertained too. Many carverys struggle to strike the balance between quality and quantity but this one is well worth a visit.

Got the food order wrong again. Carvery overcooked and veg very sloppy today. The food quality is variable. The staff are very pleasant. Don't think we will go to this one
The building itself looks amazing. The space is big and nice. Very good family atmosphere. Food is Regular. Nothing too great you cant find anywhere else. Service is awful. Servers come across as aloof and disinterested. Very abrupt type of service and unkind approach. You'll probably find better Carvery somewhere else. Location is what makes this one appealing but be prepared for unwilling-type of service.
