Well situated. Vibrant and fun. Menu was good, something for everyone. Drinks are a bit expensive. Lovely area out the front to drink, even in the winter, blankets supplied. A good find.

Stopped by for a drink with my wife and the waitress who served us had no idea where or what anything was. The menu said a Gin was £4, we asked her to confirm if that included the mixer and she said yes. I also asked for a double talisker which according to the drinks menu was £12. When they had no talisker she offered me the other available whiskeys. She then tried to charge us almost £24 for 2 drinks! After speaking to the shift manager she said the whiskey was actually £16 and the tonic was DOUBLE what the waitress had confirmed to us. She gave no apology and had an appaling attitude. I still paid for my wifes drink but said forget the whiskey. Will never be coming back. Can see why the bar was as empty as it was on a Saturday considering the managers rudeness.

The service was horrible, the staff always forgot to bring the right cutlery. The menu also seemed foreign to you.Instead of Bearnaise sauce, a béchamel was served with the claim that it was indeed Bearnaise.

Went here on a wet & blustery Saturday afternoon… myself & my wife were staying at a hotel just up the road and we stumbled across this place whilst looking for somewhere nearby to get out of the rain! Our initial thoughts when we saw the menu was that they were spreading their choices too wide, we’ve eaten at places before that cater for a million different cuisines (from pizzas to curries to fish & chips to Thai food), we’ve usually found the food to be of a sub standard quality when it’s been like that but we were both pleasantly surprised how good our food was.I had the Norrbrod (avocado, smoked salmon on rye bread) and my wife had Pad Thai, both really good sized, delicious portions. The staff were very friendly & helpful too!

Nice bar just off Portland street . They don’t do enough promotion to make people aware it exists! recently started a 50% off deal which makes it worth while . Nice staff and good beer choice
