Visited tonight after reading the good reviews, however following our experience we unfortunately would not recommend.. ordered drinks, starters & mains. Ordered lamb spring rolls to start, very nice would recommend. Then ordered 3x chicken Sunday lunches and 1 seabass for main. All were so salty! No one did a check back on our table, and when the staff finally came to clear our plates, despite 2 of us handing back half full plates, there was no question on our feedback. We advised that the meals were very salty, to the point that 2 of us could not finish.. we were advised "yes they tend to be quite salty!!" Upon paying our bill we paid 2 thirds of it, when trying to explain why we didn't pay the rest the server wandered off.. not great for a first experience and have unfortunately advised on our socials for people to avoid!

I visited with a friend as a Confidentials voucher gave us a £50 spend for £25. I started off strong with the mushroom parfait starter, but the crab burger wasn’t as enjoyable. It may have been down to the other ingredients, but it just didn’t have enough of a predominant crab taste to me ? Service was up to the mark.

While the starters (Korean cauliflower & buffalo mozarella) and staff were outstanding, the main dishes and certain elements of the ambiance left room for improvement, in my opinion.MAIN COURSE: the steak and the chicken schintzel were good, but fell a little flat and lacked the same punch as the starters.AMBIANCE: the restaurant itself has a lovely aesthetic with charming brick walls that create a warm and inviting environment. But this is somewhat disrupted by the stark lighting from the open kitchen, which contrasts with the restaurant's dim lighting. Also, the music didn't quite harmonize with the overall vibe the restaurant seems to aim for. Don't get me wrong, there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with classic jams like 'Africa' by Toto and 'Love Shack', but the music just felt out of place. In my opinion, the restaurant has the potential to offer a more cohesive dining experience.

I didn’t catch the name of our waitress but I’d like to mention that she was lovely. (I work in hospitality) we were asked about allergies and she had a good knowledge of the menu when I was discussing recommendations, she may remember us as we spoke that I had been to a BMTH concert the night before and didn’t fancy cooking so i had come out for a Sunday dinner with just my son. We had the lamb starter followed by roast beef and then sticky toffee pudding. The food was spot on and exactly what we were looking for when we decided to go out for dinner. The beef was pink and tender which is just how we like it and the toffee pudding is honestly the best I’ve had. It was smart evening dining with good quality food with a relaxed atmosphere. Not too pretentious for town if you want something nicer for your Sunday roast. We will be back

Had our wedding meal here . If I could give more than 5 stars I would . From the original booking right through , the communication was fantastic . Natalia did a great job of organising the day , what a great job she did . The room and set up was fabulous and all staff on the day were absolutely lovely , couldn’t do enough for you . The meal was outstanding , served quickly and efficiently and all requests taken care of. Highly recommend this place .

Sunday Lunch all day. We booked for dinner but we weee offered Sunday lunch. The lunch was superb. The Beef was cooked perfectly and the presentation was very good. The seating booths were cozy and casual. The waiting staff attentive. An all round good experience. Fully recommended.

Been here for the first time and food and service were brilliant, Mikey looked after us and he was polite and very professional, so was the waiter when I’ve asked if they could charge my phone as I was about to go to the theatre and needed my tickets .Many thanks , we will definitely will be back again , Happy New Year ?

Very friendly and helpful staff. The children's menu is well priced and the food was delicious however the children’s burger and chips was substantial, the same size as the adult's, whereas the children’s pasta was a tiny bowl. The meals were also not served at the same time (over 10 minutes between different meals). We ordered 3 meals with chips and asked for ketchup, receiving one tiny ramekin to share. The food was great-tasting other than a very strange chocolate mousse dessert. Pretty well priced. The music in the bar on the mezzanine floor above is very very loud and so the restaurant is rather loud too, also aggressively air-conditioned (in late December). The building is beautiful, inside and out, with lovely furtniture and fittings. We would go back.

A nice spot for a few drinks with friends. Nice atmosphere, friendly and competent staff - Shannon and Mikey were especially lovely, they went above and beyond!

Usually can not fault. Although, the last time I went in, it was my mum's birthday (19/12/23), and I was served a 'burnt to a crisp' starter. Even the filling was rock hard. The staff clearly knew it was under satisfactory. As it was served, they and the chef were watching us to see whether I would eat it.NICE TRY, but it didn't work! If you know something is that bad. DON'T SERVE IT!

Just been to FH in Manchester, stumbled across as was hidden by building works at cathedral. Wow, what a hidden gem, food was good but have to say the service that we got from the bar man called Alex was exceptional, would go back purely to be served in the bar by that young man! Thanks for a great evening FH!

They told me and my partner the payment didn’t go through (when it had) made us wait 30 minutes to pay and told us we must pay again upstairs. Nevertheless a few hours later I checked my bank and they had charged me twice. I had to ring up to get a refund for the double payment and they did nothing to compensate for my time wasted. I would encourage people to check their bills if choosing to dine here.I was also told that they would refund me within 2 hours, check my bank the next day and the money is still taken!!! Having to now do a reverse transaction with my bank, unbelievably bad and I would absolutely not recommend nor would I want to dine here ever again, day light robbery.

Lovely food, music far too loud for a dinner spot. Staff attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back for the Korean cauli and whipped feta.
