I lived in Bristol before and going to Franco Manca for pizza was my delight!Very affordable, very nice atmosphere, always reliable and such nice toppings. It's so good to find this in the north too and with prices being extremely reasonable despite the appalling prices in so many other places.Anisa was also the sweetest waitress we've had in years.Best of luck to the business ?

The pizza is outstanding. Excellent value for money and delicious. However the service needs some improvement. Generally quite rushed. A little more training needed to understand how to be attentive without being overbearing. And please stop doing that thing, chain, restaurants insist on doing: having lots of free tables but still cramming everyone together in a small space near the window to make it look busier than it is. Passers-by are not stupid. They know the game you are trying to play. They would rather go in a restaurant where they've got their own space and not crammed together overhearing each other's conversations.

I went today and ordered a pizza marinara, just sourdough and tomato and garlic. The pizza was so burnt in the bottom, it had a basil leave stuck in the bottom and all the dirt of the oven. The tomato was butter and the garlic was bitter as well.Tried to it, disgusting. I told the waiter to which he replied really? Let me see ...and I was like do you want to try it? The waiter embarrassed from what he saw yelled at the cook another marinara pizza urgently. Now the second pizza is burnt exactly as the first. Acid reflux promoting sauce, and burnt sourdough.I tried to eat two slices forcing my self because the meds I'm taking need to be taken on full stomach. It was disgusting, terrible but I didn't want an argument and also I didn't want the poor guy to make me a third disgusting pizza. It may look almost normal on the top but look at the bottom in the pictures. It made my stomach have more acid, I thought paying for a pizza in a restaurant would be better than a pizza from Aldi .I think Aldi pizza is much better than the two not one I had today!

I've been to a few Franco Manca and this is the first time I get disappointed with their pizzas. The starters were great though, tasty and portions were good.Sadly we did not find the right flavours in the pizzas, we ordered chorizo and also another one with mozzarella and truffle and even though you could see the ingredients, the flavours were not there at all.We ordered some pesto on the side to try to improve the pizza and I must say that I have never had such a bad pesto in my life. I would not even dare to call it pesto.I generally don't leave bad reviews, I'd rather speak to the manager or whoever checks on me, but this was not the case, nobody approached us to find out whether we were happy or not, so here is my review as I believe this is not a good reflection of who they are and the service they tend to give, so guys have a look into this. Thanks for reading!

Great pizza. Busy restaurant and worth booking ahead of possible. It was match day and got quite busy after we arrived. Consequently the service was a little slow. Nice staff though.

Food is excellent. Pizza freshly made. Great base innovative toppings. Staff polite and reasonably efficient. Next time the two of us will share one pizza. We never Finnish one each

Great Franca Manca, the food was delicious. Only downside was the service. We had two people, a waitress and the manager and they gave dual service. So not sure what happened, but food came before drinks, we were asked to pay twice and they chilled a bottle of wine for us before bringing it to table which ended up without wine glasses that we asked for. However, both were amazing with lovely personalities so... easy to forget the service issue, especially since they were funny.

Got seated on Saturday night without a reservation and the food came quickly. Staff were nice.Would have liked some fries or something as a side. The pizza wasn't the greatest but it wasn't bad. Wouldn't recommend the wild garlic pesto as it was quite bitter

My wife and I shared a pizza with spicy pepperoni and chili sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The side salad was made with fresh vegetables and a tasty dressing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Good pizzas. Enjoyed the special - spicy lamb pizza. Coffee was decent too. Salad came after the pizza, would have preferred before. 3 stars because of optional 10% service charge which they put on the bill before hand. Didn't feel like the service was worth the 10% but felt bad to ask to remove it.

I will get judged for this but honestly we all know the pizzas at Franco Manca are great etc etc but I actually go there for the sides, especially the burrata with nduja on sourdough. It's just really great and with their house lemonaide makes for an amazing afternoon snack.Ofcourse, always get a pizza on the side :P
