The sweet treats (donut variations in particular) are next-level at this place. I discovered this place during lockdown and it go me through! My recent visit showed me they are still a quality place to go.

Handy tip: if you just want to nip in and get some treats to take away, you don’t have to queue up outside. The tray of treats excited me, and I walked away with a Kinderella Donut…heavenly filling!

A life saver. Little kiosk selling Gooey goodness - particularly worth it for the specials. Little to no queue normally, which is much better than the Gooey Cafe in NQ. Please, Gooey, keep it open - and give a heater to the dude inside during

Walked here for a bit of dessert after brunching elsewhere to find an extremely long queue for those wanting a table inside. Luckily we wanted to take out our dessert so were able to go to the till and order. I had to order both cookies and donuts for my husband to try when I got home. Absolutely sensational! Excellent quality and I loved how everything was laid out in front of us so you knew exactly what you were getting. They bake everything on site too so no secrets, just gorgeous desserts ! Will definitely return.

We love it in here! It’s welcoming and friendly and the food is sublime! It’s a treat place for us; we love the cookies and the French toast. . But the Rueben sandwich is INCREDIBLE too. The service is always professional and helpful, we literally can’t fault it ! A gem of a place ticking all the boxes.

Went for breakfast yesterday, wanted to go for ages. We had the granola and egg sandwich with coffees, the food was delicious. Staff were nice and service was pretty quick. We even got a cheeky take away cookie box mmm.

Trafford Centre Review: - Visited Thursday, Rude Service, Girl was on her phone with AirPods in, completely ignoring customers at the front of Selfridges. She placed a sign on the display cabinet saying they had sold out with nothing available at 7pm?Then could see she was eating the stock she clearly put aside for herself. A box with about 12 cookies in, not a good look! Staff eating your profits.Shame as I was going to give a try, went elsewhere instead.

Someone appears to be making a lot of money on the back of astute social media marketing here. I tried one of their donuts as a colleague had recommended them and still regret paying £3.75 for it, a completely unjustified and inflated price. The donut was competently made, but the main difference to a good fresh supermarket donut was that it had a lot more (raspberry) jam in it. It was nice jam, but far more than I could stomach so I ended up having to throw some away or face diabetes. Wasteful and extravagantly priced. At the risk of sounding like an inverted snob, the Lidl bakery section is excellent; their donuts are melt-in-your-mouth light and don't leave you feeling slightly nauseous and like you've been robbed.

Visited Gooey with my husband for a weekend breakfast. Both had the French toast with bacon and it was absolutely delicious ? Coffee good and great flavour. Friendly and polite staff. Clean cafe and tables wide enough apart from other customers. We also took 4 doughnuts to go - all were delicious and so yummy. Definitely we will be visiting again.

Doughnut very good, full of flavour with a good consistency of filling . 5/5 (Custard/Kinder) Cookies are anything but gooey. Sawdust consistency ,with a bland taste . 1/5

Getting delivery is probably the best way to have the food it’s delicious and even from a student worth the £8 price tag. The restaurant looks like it hasn’t had as much attention paid to it, it’s trendy but very obvious where they have skimmed out on price, the chairs are uncomfortable, water is from reused milk bottles and things that should probably be in a storage room are out in the open. Overall amazing food and lovely staff ?

Discovered this delight whilst visiting Manchester. This was the best bacon and egg sandwhich I’ve had, EVER! Others ordered the French toast, mushrooms on toast and avocado on toast, all really good. The coffee was excellent too ! Staff very friendly and accommodating.

This beautiful French toast (more like loaf ?) has been on my list for a while now and I can confirm Gooey DELIVERED. The most beautiful French toast, perfectly golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and filled with the most delicious Dulce de lece. Although it looks heavy I was pleasantly surprised and inhaled the whole thing! The only thing that would make this PERFECT would be an addition of a salty element (even a sprinkle of sea salt) and served alongside some fresh fruit! Other dishes we ordered: • Birria Dip • Hashbrowns • The Reuben Although the other dishes were nice the French toast was the HIGHLIGHT and a MUST!!
