Well deserving of their star. Everyone did a fantastic job. The food and ambiance was perfectly complimentary and appropriate. Would recommend highly.

So much thought and detail went into every dish and having eaten at a 3 star and 2 star recently, I can honestly say our experience at Mana was on the same level. The semmelier was so knowledgeable and we loved learning about the wine pairings.Truly exceptional and definitely worth a visit.

I went with my wife for her birthday celebration as a treat. We were planning to have the full menu but 3 of the first 8 dishes were too salty, including the langoustines, the celeriac and the crab in particular was very salty. They didn’t really seem to accept our view and maintained that this was how the dishes were supposed to be. In response they offered to give us a 50% refund on the food, as they said we had already had half of the menu. This didn’t really feel like fair compensation for such a disappointing experience. In the end we paid £75 for a bottle of wine plus £175 for a really disappointing afternoon.

We have been to many Michelin restaurants and were looking forward to trying Manchester’s first one.The staff were all lovely and overall the food was goodThe drinks were more ice than drinkThe dessert was more savoury than sweetOverall it is way overpriced as we paid nearly £1k for 4 people.

Fabulous Evening with well informed, welcoming staff. I came away having learned so much & ate outside my comfort zone as i don’t particularly enjoy fish and much of the menu is fish/seafood based. All courses & wine were well explained by the staff & i found myself enjoying dishes that I thought initially i perhaps wouldn’t have enjoyed. Go with an open mind & try everything as you will be surprised. This is a small & intimate restaurant & not suitable for large groups. We did feel the quality of the wine did not match the quality of the food unfortunately, However there was an extensive wine list & we did only try 2 different bottles.

Staff very friendly, opening the door and taking our coats. Seated in the lounge area, completely understand why they ask you arrived no earlier as the area is small. Promptly served a sort of warm broth which was lovely. After our drinks order was taken we tried four different amuse bouche. The waiter directed us to the kitchen area and we tried another amuse bouche before being seated. We decided to have the wine flight which consisted of a total of seven very small glasses of wine. The wine measures I must say are very small, the smallest we have ever been served by a Michelin but we believe this is probably due to the vintage of the wine. We enjoyed every course. I won’t bother detailing each course but have taken the liberty of attaching the menu. For me, it was a little fish heavy but my husband really enjoyed it for that reason. The flow of food was steady and don’t recall feeling like we waited too long between any of the courses. Staff very attentive, topping up our water and enquiring about how we had found the food. The restaurant had a good atmosphere, music playing but not too loud and I think 9 tables in total. Yes we will definitely be returning in the future.

The best restaurant I’ve been to in the UK without a doubt. I love the intense attention to detail without it being a cliche. You are made to feel so welcome from the moment you walk up to the entrance. Can’t wait to go back

Easy to see why this is a Michelin restaurant. The food is delicious and well presented. The restaurant is beautiful. Worth the price!
