Why are the sell by dates so bad on the fresh Sausages ???

A few reviewers have commented about how the staff here are more friendly and attentive than the other Martins bakers. I really agree with that. Not to say that all staff at other branches are not friendly though, but there are particularly nice here.

Lovely fresh made sandwiches and pasties, steak bakes are the best iv ever had and nothing is to much trouble for the young girl working there very friendly and helpful ????

I went in around 9am ish... I wanted breakfast, however.... All the breakfast items are kept under heat lamps for ages and it all dries out and looks nasty, the bacon looked so dried out you could use it as shoe leather. Someone in front of me got a sausage barm and to my surprise, the woman took the sausages and put them in the microwave for 20 seconds or so before serving them....they looked like black puddings... Yuck.
