Passed by this shop while going to a nearby restaurant and the bread looked yummy. Bought some and it was fresh and nice to eat plain or just with some salted butter.

Their sandwiches meal deal was quite popular but I ended up going for their hot pastries and they were lush! Most pastries were on an offer: buy two for a price. I bought 2 steak pastries and 2 sausage rolls for £5. They were piping hot and both pastries had good amount of filling not just sauce or fat. Loved them!

Always amazing quality food in this bakery, the staff are always very welcoming and I love the banter we always have with each other. Also the premium sausages are lovely especially now that the butchers is no longer there it’s nice to get a decent pack of butchers style sausages! :)
Are the staff Jokers or comedians? At 7.20 this morning I was the source of their entertainment. On asking a simple question whether they were open, both the ladies said no and burst out laughing... I apologised and went to leave. As I got to the door they claimed they were joking. Am I to find this funny? Although I did smile as I munched into my Mcds bacon and egg!

Martins has gone from strength to strength over the pandemic. The sandwiches are great, the fresh bread Is superb, and the fresh stuff like the bacon and sausages are top notch. The staff are brilliant, can’t fault the place at all.
