This McDonald's is inside the Arndale shopping centre (food court). You can order at the counter and on the touch screen yourself.

This is a very busy McDonald's, located inside the Food Court of the Manchester Arndale shopping centre. They have made efforts to improve this particular location of late, adding support for McDonald's Rewards and mobile application, while also renovating the unit they have, just making it look a bit more slick however they didn't appear to have a counter where you could order, they seemed to only have the touch-screen ordering screens and station where you pick up the ordered food with the kitchen visible. The staff member seemed friendly here. I had to order my order without the bun due to being coeliac and no gluten-free alternative being provided at McDonald's in England, as my order was served in the usual Quarter Pounder packaging (Normally my order would be served in the salad box or a white tray), he physically asked the kitchen and personally checked that they had made my order correctly, I appreciated how he wasn't just throwing the food out at customers, despite being a busy fast-food outlet, but he was actively noticing the finer details and making sure everything was correct. My food was pretty standard for McDonald's, the burger was reasonably good, and I think they even ended up giving me an extra patty which was a nice bonus to make up for the lack of the bun, however, the fries weren't hot.The prices seem to be the same as any McDonald's elsewhere in the city centre, potentially down to them all being owned/run by the same franchisee. I do find it a bit annoying having a 20 p surcharge for a tiny bit of lettuce though, especially without a bun, you just want something to build the burger up.3* - OK, obviously not the best burgers in town but certainly an option when shopping in the Arndale and wanting to stay out of the rain on the many rainy days we get in Manchester, or just a quick bite.

as it's very near to my school, I always come after school, the speed is very fast, faster then most the other mcdonalds, although there's usually lots of ppl, but as it's located in the food court, so there's lots of tables.
