The groves in the 6 seater tables where full of grime and old food. Months of build up not just something that had been missed by accident. The whole place needs a good clean, well worn and tired.

Had a very tasty meal here and was looked after by a lovely young lady called Ioanna. She was very friendly ,helpful and knowledgable about the food served there. I have been doing the Cambridge diet and was worried there would be no where for me to eat but Nando’s came through. I had a very nice, hot and very tasty piece of chicken with a lovely fresh green salad. The restaurant was very clean and they were obviously very Covid conscious . Thank you Nando’s especially Ioanna as I was able to have a great meal without jeopardising my diet regime - not many places can boast that. I came away feeling full and satisfied that I’d had a good meal at a fair cost.

Great welcoming by staff. Tables. Lovely and clean. Typical Nando’s chicken lovely and moist hot freshly cooked. We had whole & half a chicken between us awesome. Staff polite and helpful

Fast, efficient service and really lovely and attentive staff. Sat upstairs and it was lovely and quiet. We would definitely go back next time we are in Manchester.

Best Nando’s I have ever had and the customer service was incredible. The male waiter was amazing and made us feel so welcome! The food was honestly the best also. Will definitely be coming back.

Came in when it just opened and we didn't book so we had to use the qr queue system which isn't complicated and pretty good which was shown by the host but wasn't given any instructions of what to do or what to put in at first. The door host on that day's attitude wasn't great with first impressions as she told my sister quite bluntly and rudely \\\"you havent booked babes\\\" would have been better if she said \\\"I don't see your name on the system, have you booked on the system or would you like any assistance?\\\" Then we figured it out on our own and the host seated us down and she did communicate well on how to order and saying we will take your drinks, cutlery etc. The drinks however took 15 minutes to make and bring to our table and we only had a Coke and Fanta. The food came and I had the Chicken pitta and the BBQ and garlic sauce and my sister had the chicken burger. It was so nice but the peri peri chips were slightly bland on both plates.\\nThe Front Of House servers were polite and would ask if we'd like re fills and would go out of their way to make you feel comfortable in the restaurant.\\nThe App is very easy to order from and the tables were nice and clean and covid safe especially with tables being socially distanced.\\n\\nHowever with the door host's attitude it has put us off this Nando's and will be going to the one in printworks in the future.

Yesterday we came to nandos, excited to eat we were greeted by a host who sat us down. Previous to this we had to scan a QR code to get in a virtual queue as they were very busy which was fine. However once we placed our order it started to all go down hill from there. We ordered 3 bottomless drinks 2 Fanta and 1 Diet Coke instead we were given 2 diet cokes and a Fanta and the waiter had to go correct it. Then we ordered two hallomi but only one came and when we asked the host/waitress she said “okay I trust you guys I’ll go get another one” to me this is very rude and offending as she is indicating that we could be lying when I clearly had the receipt on my emails. After waiting another 10 mins the other hallomi came. Due to covid you can’t help yourself to drinks anymore so the waiters have to go get you one, however the waiters never offered us any drink we were sat there with empty glasses and they were just walking past us or all chatting together. After 40 minutes we eventually asked a waiter where are mains were as it was taking so long, he then proceeded to tell us that there had been a delay and they hadn’t got our order which was weird as they had got our order for our starters. The host/waitress beforehand told us that our order may of been binned and that’s why we didn’t get our hallomi. SHOCKING. We eventually got our mains- I ordered a double chicken wrap and on my wrap there was no lettuce?? Then my friends came and her burger came with no lettuce and they had also missed the side of her chips. Mistakes after mistakes where being made. I proceeded to ask the waitress where the lettuce and filling on the wrap was and she said they had none in the store. WHY DIDNT ANYONE LET US KNOW?? The lack of customer care and information was horrendous. After all the trouble the waiter said we could have a free desert, but he never offered us one in the end, he completely avoided our table and could clearly see we had finished. I have never had such a bad experience with nandos and I’m so disappointed.

The new system requires you to register at the restaurant, be told to wander around the Arndale and when a table is free they will text you so you can head back over. I think this is a way better system than needing to queue outside of the restaurant to wait, and it only took around 5 minutes. There is sanitiser by the door and all tables are properly cleaned after customers leave. The staff were friendly and explained how to order online. The food came pretty quickly and was really nice, as always, although the Medium spice was milder than it is in my local few Nandos. You are no longer allowed to refill your bottomless drink yourself, and instead need to ask a member of staff to do it for you. This is a great idea but the staff weren't around us too often so we had to wait a while until they served someone else food and quickly call them over. I'd say if the staff maybe wandered around the tables and asked it would save waiting time, instead of the customers being unable to locate a staff member. Overall it was a good Nandos with really nice staff and I would go back.
