Worst Pizza Express in the UK. Staff are working with bad attitude. Making mistakes and not apologising, trying to make insensible excuses even blaming on customers. It takes 45 minutes for a Caesar salad and aubergine and tastes not good.

We had lunch at Pizza Express Trafford Centre this week. Not visited for a while but a few year ago used to be our go to pizza place. Really used to enjoy the pizza and salads, mainly at the Hale branch. It wasn’t very busy. This time my wife ordered a chicken Caesar salad, and I had a Fiorentina Pizza. The salad was really poor. If I had made this at home, I would have been very disappointed. The chicken was cold and dry, there was no Milano cheese on it, the dressing was obviously just dispensed from a large tub and the croutons were of the dry packed variety. Looked like it was thrown together by a student. At best, £1.50 worth of shoddy ingredients for £13.95 ! My pizza was pressy ordinary also. It looked like it had been left to dry out for a while, not fresh at all. Do you pre bake the bases now? Seemed so different from years gone by when the food was always fresh tasting. Definitely will be our last visit. We will support smaller independents who haven’t turned the experience into a “fast food” venture.

After seeing the recent reviews, i was hesitant.I went last night and we were served by komal. She was really cheerful and nice. Great staffs and the food was delicious.Definitely worth another visit.

Visit reminded me why I’ve not eaten here for 15 years. Very average pizza. I’ve seen more cheese on a McDonald’s burger wrapper than my pizza . They don’t cut the pizza for you and the plates are not big enough to fit the width of the pizza which means by the time you cut the pizzas up they are already nearly cold. £18 and and hour wasted. Never again

I had promised my nephew and nieces an evening meal out to pizza express and this one was the only viable option. I was a little discouraged by the significant number of poor reviews... But I'd made a promise. So I risked it.I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly and attentive, food is what I would expect from a Pizza Express. I couldn't see any evidence of the negative complaints I've read here. The only thing I could grumble about is we had to wait 15 minutes outside the restaurant with other people who hadn't made a reservation, where as we had. But when it was discovered we were seated and served very quickly. The kids had a great time. I'd definitely go again.

After 5 years from the last post here, it's unfortunate that the service here has not changed much if not worse. Staff look like they are overworked during the day and I feel sorry for them. Customers waiting with tables waiting to be cleared. If you don't mind the wait you won't have a problem.

A lovely meal and experience today, the waiter was so attentive and helpful regarding food intolerances, could not be more pleased. Thank you

Please note this is not in relation to any staff member at this franchise who were all clearly rushed off their feet and working hard… I’ve feel Pizza Express as a company are only interested in making profit, not quality food or good customer experiences. The tables are so crammed together you feel awkward and in the way. The products are seriously overpriced. The Tesco vouchers have been hard work using on more than one occasion. I will not be going to any Pizza Express again after feeling ripped off and quite annoyed on more than one occasion. P.s if they tell you you’re able use your remaining Tesco balance on your next trip, it is wrong. Pizza Express pocket the difference and the customer and Tesco are the ones who loose out.
