I've been popping into this pizza store pretty often, but my recent experience left me proper disappointed.On the 22nd of December, I gave them a bell to double-check their Christmas Day hours, and they told me they'd be open from 5 to 10 pm. So I ordered online for collection that Christmas evening. But when I rocked up at 6:48 pm, the place was shut tight! And here I was, all geared up for a Christmas bash with friends, looking forward to enjoy their pizza. Why you still taking order online when you didn’t open?To make matters worse, they'd already taken the payment from my credit card. I sent them an email that night, but got no response. Two days later, when I rang up asking for a refund, they didn't even bother with an apology. He just said the refund was done and told me to wait a few days.Well, a whole month goes by, no refund appeared. I rang again and they said they didn’t take my money cause the order was not accepted. How's that for a joke? I had to get my bank involved to sort out.The pizza is my favourite in this area, but with service like that, I wouldn't recommend this place if you’d like to use their online service.

Port grand pizza makes the best pizza inAshton-under-lyne. Pizza's here are always good quality, delivery is always on time and staff are very friendly. When I have walked past the takeaway it looks very clean and tidy I trust my food from here. I will keep ordering from here again and again it's the best.

I order a 12" thin crust pizza for £11.17 which is good value compared to the big pizza chains. Tasted just as nice & was delivered quickly. My only gripe is the minimum order spend of £15 to deliver which bumps up the price when i only wanted a pizza. So i had to make up the extra by opting for 4 choc cookies at £3.99. Average biscuit size id say worth 20p each at most. That in itself isnt good value & they didn't add the ice-cream that was suppose to come with it. If they could lower the minimum spend to £10 so i can order just a pizza then i would rate it higher.

My house was 20 minutes away from this pizza shop but I got this pizza within 7 Minutes and my pizza is still hot there service is out class.

Grim. Most of the pizza has nothing on it, and is dry. No tomatoes - sauce nor actual tomato. Had 1 mouthful and chucked it. Rotten!

These are far and away the best pizzas available in the local area, and the delivery service is excellent too. My only complaint ... it doesn't open till 4pm and there have been several occasions I've fancied a pizza at lunch time.
Just order a meal deal for £21.99 and it was brilliant. Piping hot and really tasty food. Well done Port Grand ?

I don't understand the good reviews. Pizza had barely any tomato sauce for base, and not many toppings. Ordered half and half pizza, one with BBQ sauce base and there wasn't any on it. Mainly just bland bread. Not worth the money.

I am very pleased with the overall experience today. Promptly delivered within 45 minutes by a lovely young lady and food still hot. Pizzas were spot on. Generous amounts of toppings and crust quite crunchy, just lacked a bit of spice, though. Perfect for those who don't like it very much spicy.Cookie dough was full of flavour, with melted chocolate bits. The core just a tad undercooked. Demolished everything within 15 minutes.Compared to other takeaways, I would say this place is very competitively priced. 2, 10 inches pizza, 1 side, and a single cookie dough with a 1.25L drink, just cost us £20Good work guys will definitely re-order.Dietary restrictions: Halal
