“Just amazing as always - definitely a special occasion place though on the basis of the cost! The Sneaky Pete cocktails were phenomenal ?”

“A small shop with limited seating. Chips were nice, fish was okay, nit much taste.
A little too less salt and vinegar for my liking.
Over all a solid experience.”

“It's good but not great. Everything is done well but nothing stood out. I had fish & chips, mushy pea fritters & curry sauce. I also thought it was a bit overpriced & there is a discretionary service charge which I didn't mind paying. Overall, I felt a bit underwhelmed given all the hype surrounding the place but good luck to an independent business which I always try to support.”

“Genuinely one of the best meals I've eaten in Manchester! Between 3 of us, we shared 3 starters, the platter for 2, and a side of chips. Generous portions, delicate flavours, everything we ate was delicious. Excellent service. It was less than £45 a head with drinks, so amazing value as well. 100% would return!”

“Staff were great and very attentive, loved the food would definitely recommend. I had bought my birthday cake with me, they offered to put it in the fridge while we ate and when they bought it back to me even offered to cut me a slice. However I was definitely way too full so saved it until I got home but was definitely a lovely gesture. Would go back 100% made my birthday memorable”

“The best fish and chips I’ve tasted in 20+ yrs honestly, so traditional in the fish, peas, perfect gravy, scollops and muffins. Chips are traditional but I still prefer 70s chippy chips . A little bit more on price but so worth it. Everything else my whole family vouch for too.”

“I heard mixed reviews but I must say I personally am a seafood lover and I loved the food here. We ordered the 50 prawn platters in spicy and one in extra spicy. Both tasted delicious and perfectly cooked. I preferred the spicy one the extra was too much of a kick for me. The ribs were amazing the bbq taste wasn't overwhelming. We also tried most of the starters, all were decent. Atmosphere was casual which was fine. Very clean. Tables a bit close to each other but can't always be helped I guess. Staff were all very friendly and smiley which I love. Menu was nice. Bit on the pricey side but expected with sea food so maybe try and go on Tuesday or Thursday for a bit of discount. Family friendly. Halal and allergy aware. I didn't see a kids menu so mine mainly had starters unfortunately. Parking on road but lower down from the restaurant so might need to walk a little and cost a few pounds if you go before 8pm but we all managed to get parking for 3 cars so no issues x”

“I am a regular at this great pub and witnessed the whole incident, to say that they have fabricated what went on is an understatement. The whole incident was handled in a professional manner and the correct decision was made. It’s great to see all of the pubs in Didsbury sticking together when it comes to situations like this, yes the Didsbury Dozens are great for the area but they can also ruin the enjoyment for regular local customers.
Management and staff keep up the good work 5⭐️”
“The food and everything about this evening was amazing, one of the best meals I've ever had”
