Male member of staff with mustache was rude. The blonde lady behind the bar was fabulous.Very good prices for pub grub. It's fine to have no phones signs up but please reword these as they don't create a welcoming environment

Great beers, the best fish and chips, friendly service and a beautiful interior create a wonderful atmosphere. I can't imagine visiting Manchester without visiting this pub!

Fantastic quirky little bar in the centre of the city.Samuel Smith's, so ridiculous how cheap it is, well under £6 for 2 pints.Great beer garden (weather permitting obviously)Inside1) no dogs (shame) they are catered for outside.2) no swearing3 no mobile phones! At all! You might be asked to leave if you don't get off it. They encourage conversation! How novel.Ancient pub, full of history from the 14th century, even accepts none cash now.Half the price of the one next door.

We had a beer and some burgers. The dish is quite big. We recommend if you want to see an old atmosphere British vibe.
