It’s been closed for over a year - HN couldn’t be bothered to replace this ? Because Northern City?

Went in hoping cocktail bar was open. reluctantly tried the brasserie. Had the Tuna Wasabi sandwich....lots of tuna and mayo but no taste of wasabi. my friend had the Welsh rarebit which was meant to be accompanied with hot mustard. Again big portion but no hot mustard taste.Had the Harvey Nics rose which was bland. 48 spent and was largely disappointed

A party of 5 ladies from the Isle of Man (3 sisters - mums & 2 daughters having lunch) on a family week end away in Manchester - The staff at Harvey Nichols were very rude & unhelpful - They even spent a lot of time staring at our table & talking amongst themselves - I don't think we have ever experienced this type of treatment in a restaurant in our lives - we will definitely not be returning again.

It's closed down yet still has a website with telephone number, which takes you to another restaurant in manchester!!!!

Truly awful coffee. The coffee was stale and the drink was poorly made. Staff were indifferent and told me it was stale become it was decaf.

Intimidating and a shame of a venue. Planning on a nice family meal to see a restaurant smaller than a cafe. God awful

Ok chicken baguettes and good selection of Fentimans soft drinks. The waitresses could have been more cheerful, othervise good service.

Was denied service. Wanted to purchase a doughnut to go but was told that 'today' they are trialling not selling doughnuts to go unless you bought 4 mixed flavour ones. Staff was extremely rude and said they would not sell us a doughnut unless we ate in and bought coffee. DO NOT GO

Here is a newly built housing estate, which is convenient for delivery attendants.

When eating out the food has to be top notch and it is here, been several times never had bad meal and the staff are very professional and friendly, the restaurant was full but the service was swift and efficient. The layout is really nice although for us the decor doesn't matter too much it's the food that counts but the views here are very good. Can recommend. Prices are fairly high but the food is worth it so very good value.

I badly miss their old restaurant on the top floor. Starting crisps were nice followed by the sandwich

Lovely place with wonderful theme and staff. Enjoyed breakfast and will certainly try dinner soon.

Reading the other recent reviews here, I can understand the general comments. We waited about 20 minutes for our drinks, but nothing else went wrong at all. The food we ate was first class, we all finished the lot!We were served by a man with glasses called Will. He literally didn't stop in the 2 hours we were there. He was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. He clearly understands his job role. Unfortunately the other staff members didn't seem as switched on. In my opinion of course. So for Will's first class service, as well as the exceptional food, 5 stars. We just hope it isn't Will's day off when we return!

Visited on New Years Eve for breakfast, we went quite often previously, but will not be going again.Although the restaurant was quiet, there was only one other couple there at the time the cooked breakfast was cold and not of great quality. We asked for some toast and were offered some dry bread which had never been close to a toaster or a grill. They didn't bring any butter or marmalade or jam or even offer anything. When I complained nobody was interested. It was all in all a dreadful experience. Not to be repeated. There are other places to go which are considerably better, don't waste your money here.
