Very popular bar in the heart of Prestwich, good selection of ales, beers and spirits.Plenty of seating upstairs on comfy leather sofas.

An oasis of calm in a turbulent world. This former residence has been lovingly converted into a snug bar with outside seating for the odd moment the rain stops. Good range of cask , keg and bottle beers plus cocktail and wine options. Stairs are quite steep and, gentlemen, have to be negotiated to get to the loo.

Love this place. Pop in for an hour have a few large white wines or rosé and just relax. Long may it continue.

Quite pricey, especially when it comes to alcohol free drinks which are typically under £4 but perhaps being the size that they are, they have to be — the service was good, and the smoking area pleasant but small. Must be awful when it’s busy but fine when I visited

Pleasant Micropub in the centre of the village. Only a few of the ten taps on offer, but decent enough.

Great little bar with good ale and a good atmosphere. I didn't eat here, so I can't comment on the food.

Great place to chill (even if the quiz is on a Monday night ?) Seven Bro7hers Honeycomb Pale Ale tonight 4%.14/02/23. Romance isn't dead on Valentine's Day. Quick pint or two after finishing work but back in work tomorrow, which spoilt it. Google asked if Crooked Man had changed since the last visit (last week) nope! Still the same great place! Good selection of ales, but as it was Valentine's Day, I had the best company![previously]......Always a good vibe & atmosphere here at the Crooked Man. Formerly the old Police Station. Friendly service, a good selection of craft ale on tap and a great selection of bottled beers, from around the world. Small outdoor seating area, quirky little seating areas upstairs with a mix of sofas, stools, chairs and wingback chairs. Dog friendly and I'd consider here as one of about 4 bars in Prestwich that I'd recommend and be a first 'go-to'. Always intrigued as to why the 2nd floor hasn't been opened up, I'm sure it'd be filled in no time!Wish I had the history of this old Police Station. Think I need to do some investigation!

First time in the Crooked Man. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good selection of beers. Reasonably priced for Prestwich. Nice sunny spot at back. Dog friendly and somewhere I'd feel comfortable going on my own.
