not every negative review is ‘malicious’ and every venue is open to criticism. i personally wouldn’t recommend due to an experience that leaves me feeling this isn’t an entirely welcoming space, and how the management seem to deal with complaints or issues when they come up.Edited to add:How would you know who i am or am not friends with without stalking me on some social media not connected to this account, regardless, you also can not claim to know every single person who has walked through your doors, clearly. Let people have opinions, criticism is important for businesses to grow or learn, i do not leave fake or unwarranted reviews.

Great Pub with fine selection of ales.Very dog friendly and great enclosed rear beer garden for a run around - covered pods for those wetter visits.

The service here was extremely poor, double standards and intentionally treating certain guests worse than others, the food was questionable at best and I believe a certain level of professionalism is necessary in handling an establishment like this that clearly isn't present.

Saw the landlady SMOKING WEED and drunk on shift! Absolutely appalled I’ll never come back.
Toilets are disgusting, floors absolutely stink of urine and I’ve seen the staff and landlady intoxicated on shift. What a dive.

Been today....took 35 minutes queuing up to get a couple of pints.You have known for months it was a bank holiday and days that it would be sunny.....Please don't spoil all your good work for the sake of a little overtime for a couple of extra staff...the extra sales would have more than covered it.Excellent!Party of six of us just had a fantastic meal. Friendly efficient service. Meals that were well above the standard necessary for a pub meal. Definitely heading towards being a really really good gastro pub. Will be heading there next Sunday for a lunch.
