I can't say enough about how helpful everyone was, Mike and his team were faultless.There was quite a large group of us and they were so accommodating in getting us a table, making sure we were all together.They absolutely deserve the 5⭐️

Not been here for years and I remember why. The staff are polite. The place could do with a good clean. The food really isn't all that. I guess you get what you pay for . But one spoonful of peas, come on, really?. ?

Great local pub friendly staff and really welcoming
I had an enjoyable evening the pub has just been refurbished it was clean and comfortable. I was with my sister in law we don't go out that often but we felt welcome well looked after and will be quite happy to go back again. Thanks to a very kind and pleasant landlord.

Brilliant food and wonderful service staff very pleasant and helpful would say this is been one of the best greene king pubs we’ve been to specially compared to our local in St. Helens shocking waiting times and rude staff

Manager Mike is rude and untruthful. Refused to take clubcard vouchers. Said Head office told them not to anymore. Showed him q&a on hungry horse website for his specific pub that said they do. He then changed his story to the till having a malfunction that wont allow it. Refused to call management. So I did. Obviously embarrassed when i got them on the phone and they said he should accept the codes. Still refused. He then told them the tall tale of the till (after all if it was true why did he start out saying it was a case of head office not allowing it!? )Head office told me to pay and they now would refund.Going to put in a complaint against him. Very loud and arrogant.Young servers and barstaff, however, are absolutely lovely. Feel sorry for them dealing with such a boss.
