Great little fish and chip shop, also selling many other foods. Menu can be adapted for smaller portions which is great for kids. Speedy service, lovely friendly owner and other staff who go out of their way to help. Lovely fresh fish, never frozen. Always good quality cod and light delicious, crispy batter. The best fish and chips in Greater Manchester in my opinion and better than any I've ever had, even in seaside towns. A real classic northern establishment with a warm friendly community spirit. I highly recommend.Parking: Always able to park on the street or in free nearby car parks.Kid-friendliness: Staff are so lovely with kids and give out free sweets with parents permission. My children love it!

Ordered chips fish and peas x3 It was chaotic behind the counter lady in the white overalls/work wear was loud and rude to staff Food was hot when we got home with our order ,a positive. Trying to unwrap the food was another task all the chips were stuck to each other and couldn't get them off the paper this too was the same with the fish , resulting in the fish being al broken up with barely any batter left on it by the time it reached the plate. The residue of batter remaining on the fish was extremely greasy and soggy. The chips were only just coked again fatty and soggy. The mushy peas were tasteless. This wasn't a cheap supper by any means . The majority of it ended up in the dustbin to be honest. We felt nauseous for a while after at the amount of grease that we felt lying in our stomachs. Won't be returning to the little chippy.

Called in tonight to collect food for a poorly relative. Never heard anything like the exchange between the staff. Older lady with a tunic on with the business Logo getting mouthed at by a younger woman with brown hair and glasses.. hands down the worst experience I've ever had in a takeaway. Honestly I have never, ever heard anything like it in a shop, takeaway or restaurant, it was so uncomfortable. One remark along the lines of 'well you're so perfect, we can't all be like you can we?'... Horrific.

Great chips, not keen on the curry sauce though.

It's a chip shop.. after all the local hype around Tyldesley and Mosley Common I expected something out of the ordinary. It was all ok, but no better than the Mayflower on Sale Lane or Fey Wong just nearby to the Colliers Arms. Disappointed

Good food, several staff behind counter servingWheelchair accessibility: Entrance is level too the footpath outside but not much room inside the building to turn a wheelchair around, but staff will take your order if you wait outside and bring it out to you when it is ready.

Lovely family owned/run chippy. Good portions also do a smaller pensioner's meal.

Had fish, chips & gravy from here today and it was one of the best I've had. Especially loved the portion of fish and overall it was a filling meal. Worth the 30 min bus ride to get there for me :)
