Absolutely stunning food! Waiters were great, lovely selection of wine. Really authentic Nepalese dishes, we got to try things we'd never eaten before. The waitress was really helpful advising us on dishes. Everything was so flavorsome and not at all greasy. Highly recommend! My only note was the lighting was a little bright, but the food more than made up for it

Our friends (who were regulars) treated us to this family owned, award winning restaurant ...and we were impressed!..The food was delicious, in particular the Makhni Chicken, Makhni Daal, Kebabs, Lamb Chops, Momos, Nepalese Salad, amongst the many dishes that we really enjoyed. Recieved fabulous service from Mel and all her friendly staff...who were very helpful and knowledgeable, always greeting you with a smile, thank you ...its a cozy friendly atmosphere..(loved the art/decoration) and we definitely will be returning here again to try the other delicacies on the menu. 10/10 all round :-).

Very friendly and courteous customer service in spite of it being busy this evening. Curry was tasteful and fulfilling. I would recommend this to friends and couples.

My friend took me here on my visit to Manchester and I enjoyed it so much I took another friend the next night. Fresh, tasty food, knowledgeable and friendly servers, very reasonable prices.

Visiting from Cornwall. The Prawn Madras and Garlic Naans were the best I have ever had. Perfection. Cannot recommend the quality and service highly enough. Superb. Thank you very much indeed I really enjoyed and will definately be back on my next trip.

Overpriced for quality of food and atmosphere. The restaurant was cold and a draft goes right through the room. We were made to move table after seated and our food was served so they could squeeze in a larger group. If you order a pint of a soft drink, they charge you for two bottles and throw away what doesn’t fit in the pint - so tip; just order bottles.Over £80 for two people which included a starter and a main for what felt like sitting in at a takeaway restaurant. Not a good experience. Would not go back.

A wide range of dishes from the slow heat of the lamb Chewela to the most deliciously creamy butter chicken. The cheesy Seekh kebab is a real fusion treat, and the Pommi naan and Keema rice are wonderful accompaniments to the curries, none of the dishes disappoints. Kulfi for dessert was great at calming the heat of the Chewela and chilli chicken. What's more, there was more than enough leftovers for lunch, too. Really excellent food, very knowledgable staff, great atmosphere and a must visit if you're around Manchester. Like the Terminator, I'll be back :)

What a great first experience, we were treated to a full menu and background explanation as it was our first time dining here, Had an interesting conversation about our tastes and preferences and what was on offer here menu wise, The owners here are fully committed to giving you the best experience possible and we will certainly be coming back as there was lots in the menu we found interesting, Good tasty clean fresh food with fab service to match, No wonder these guys are winning awards ???

Managed to get the last table on walk in. I was eating with a friend who is vegan. The waitresses couldn't have been more helpful on choosing what to eat. The jackfruit curry was AMAZING. I'm not sure if this is on the menu? If not, ask! You won't be disappointed! Nice pint of kingfisher.

Having moved to London 20 years ago we returned to The Original Third Eye last night and it was better than ever. I remember the restaurant opening in 2000 and we ate there regularly. The food and service are outstanding - thanks to Mel and her team. We won’t be leaving it another 20 years and will be back soon for the butter chicken!

One of the best curries I have eaten. I had the Chilli Chicken and can't wait to return for more.

Had to come back here after having such a fantastic meal before Christmas. It really is the best Indian cuisine in Manchester with the friendliest service. Absolutely love visiting here and this will become a regular for us in 2024!

We'd booked up for the 23rd Dec, it was our first time visiting. We had been looking forward to it for weeks, and it didn't disappoint! From the moment we arrived the staff were so attentive, they couldn't do enough for us. As for the food, it was outstanding. I went for the butter chicken with their renowned naan, and it was so good that we made reservations for the first week of Jan. Following that second visit, it's safe to say that this curry house has become my absolute favourite, and it'll be very hard to beat!

A hidden gem in the heart of Didsbury ?Special food, with special people and atmosphere. Very cosy and welcoming. Everything is freshly prepared and it tastes like it. A good variety of Vegan options available too. If you've not experienced Nepalese cuisine this is a great place to start.Vegetarian options: Vegan menu available ?Dietary restrictions: Veggie options
