Disappointed the restaurant wouldn’t take our booking for 8 people.Ok they explained due to size of restaurant they don’t take bookings bigger than 6….but when we said we would take 2 tables of 4 we were refused again!We explained we were in our 50s and 60s and just wanted something nice to eat before going out for the evening so we were happy to split the party to 2 lots of 4…NO they would not allow this as they knew we had asked for a table of 8.Customer service NIL

In my minestrone I expected pasta, beans, and parmesan, instead I got potatoes and green peas :D Seasonal version maybe? The aglio e olio spaghetti was yummy and the pinot grigio was great. The space is lovely and the staff were friendly. The music put me off at first but then I got into it!Vegetarian options: A few pasta and pizza dishes - my spaghetti aglio e olio was good.Kid-friendliness: Not particularly kid friendly, more of a wine and dine vibe and the space is a bit squished.

We have struggled to find authentic Italian food around inner city Manchester. Until now. The food we had was absolutely amazing. As good as any we have eaten when in Italy. And very respectable prices. Food portions were perfect and didn't feel ripped off like some of the more "fancy" restaurants which will remain unnamed.My only negative point I could find is the bizarre 80's Italian pop music being played. Kind of spoiled the ambience. We ended up laughing at how bad it was!!... This is me being picky. It certainly won't prevent us visiting again when back in Town. 5*

Met wuth a friend who had eaten here previously. We hadn't pre- booked, but this wasn't an issue.Food was excellent, and the service was efficient, and nothing was too much trouble for the waiter. Will definitely be back again.
