Busy local Lebanese restaurant. Huge range of choices on the menu making sharing very easy. Lots of vegetarian options. Small drinks list but BYO with a small corkage charge. Friendly service

The food was mediocre and had no resemblance to Lebanese or Mediterranean cuisine. I asked for Lahmajun but received something else entirely and the “manager” told me to deal with it. The service was terrible and they took an hour to bring the main course without any apology. They made two mistakes with my order. It would have been understandable if the restaurant was crowded, but it was practically empty and we were the only customers. One of my dishes (Kofta Kebab) came with just two skewers and nothing else, not even salad, rice or bread. We had to order bread separately. I was very unhappy with this experience. This was our second and final visit.

This is definitely somewhere to avoid no parking, no atmosphere, and poor service the food is lacking in everything from appearance to taste definitely nothing special here. Very expensive for the mediocre amounts I had the hummus with bread and chicken kebabs starter I’ve had tastier from a supermarket very oily and gritty the kebabs were insulting you get more from a cold deli on a ready to eat situation. There is not atmosphere staff although working hard have no interaction. Please save your hard earned cash a takeaway or supermarket is far better and cheaper. Never will I set foot in this establishment again. It’s a -2 out of 10 from me Sorry

We visited this restaurant with other family members recently for dinner. The menu is large which is always a concern for me however on this occasion I’m pleased to say that I was wrong to worry as all the dishes we ordered were really good . I had a cheese pastry to begin with and followed that with the lamb shank cooked with spices and served with rice . I really enjoyed my choices as did everyone else. The corkage charge for wine etc is reasonable & it means it’s a relatively cheap night out . We travelled from Burnley to meet our family here and we’d be very happy to return any time . The service received was really friendly and efficient too .

I am sorry to say that we were really disappointed with our first visit to Yara. We booked this for a wedding anniversary with family members and we felt let down.Firstly I just want to say that the food was ok, we have eaten at other Lebanese restaurants in the area, however we found that some of the dishes here were a little bland in taste and improvements could be made. What we found really disappointing was the service, when we were first seated one member of staff happily took our order and after about 20 mins came back for the food order. After that no one came near us, no one check on us to see if the food was ok. There was no offer of any further drinks or even if we would like deserts. When we finally managed to get hold of a staff member and asked for the bill it was brought over and left on the side of the table with no mention of how we would like to pay. When I checked the bill we had been charged for drinks that we did not have. We went to find a member of staff and tried to explain the situation to a member of staff but they were really unhelpful and had every excuse under the sun.Its a real shame as we had good expectations from Yara having been recommended by someone else.

Awful, second worst meal I’ve ever had.Slowest service I’ve ever experiencedThe starters came out after the mains and the food was tasteless.Save yourself a lot of time and money, go to Remal for a far better Lebanese.

Nice food but disappointing service which spoilt the dining experience. It wasn't that busy but I can accept a delay if I'm told. I had to call someone over. When we finished our main we were ignored again after they had cleared the plates. Eventually asked for and paid the bill. Is friendly service too much to ask for? We would not go again as the total dining experience is what we look for and we certainly didn't get it here.

The first time we have eaten here, impressed and recommended to friends. Can't wait to return and try other dishes.

The humus was great, the chicken dish I had was OK. The shwarma better. I wanted to like Yara more. The service was great. Plan to go back in case it is just about making the right menu choices. It was a big menu.

Absolutely fantastic. First time dining here and definitely won't be the last. Fantastic food, massive portions, reasonably priced and outstanding service by Qasim and Hussain who were very accommodating. Thank you so much for looking after our group of 11 so well.
