This Yo sushi has plummeted down hill from my last visit. Staff were disengaged and uninterested, hence the service was dreadful. The while place fell sticky and unclean. At 2pm there was nothing in the belt, well I say nothing , many plates of about 5 dishes, nothing looked appetising. Ordered food which staff were reluctant to take. The whole experience was a great disappointment.

We enjoyed our meal here, but the service was a little slow with our drinks arriving after the food. It's not got much of an atmosphere which is probably more down to its location than anything else. We'd go back because the food is pretty consistent each time we visit.

Honestly I travel globally and I’ve seen this brand in Dubai just putting all standards for the this brand on another level. Firstly the sushi was not prepared properly, breaking off even before reaching the mouth. I found the hygiene not as per Restuarant standards and the seat I was sitting dirty with what looks like edges of the corian cluttered with black food particles.

Bit crazy we had not been before and we had won a voucher so we had nothing to lose The thing that gets me is Having to order on an app then type in codes for free kids meals then sign up and pay all a.bit of a performance then type in a gift voucher code why they can't just take your order I don't know just causes a more stressful experience, one which I would not recommend, then they wanted a tip they should give you a tip for doing everything yourself! Kids food cold green beans and some jam sponge all a bit poor

Visited the restaurant for a quick bite to eat. Restaurant not hugely busy. Staff were non existent apart from when you sat down and not particularly friendly having a drink slammed down in front of you and disappearing in a flash. The lack of staff was not exactly helpful when the food order was wrong and trying to find somebody to swap it. Food was expensive for what it was as the portion sizes have shrunk but the price has rocketed. Ordered and paid via the QR code and the new traffic light system was hopeless. You wait for it to turn Green before attempting to grab your food to find it quickly disappears round the other side of the restaurant. This is when hands like an octopus would help as it’s impossible to collect the dishes before it vanishes. Then get quizzed to death by the staff as to whether it was green or not. Yes it was green and had what I ordered with the exception of the Katsu curry that was wrong which was then eventually corrected. Surrounded by dirty dishes from the previous guests finished the experience off. When I left the restaurant and walked past about 20mins later the dishes I ate from were still on the table. Messaged Yo sushi via the email address and yet to hear a response.

Visited today, was told to scan qr code to order. We had to do this last yo sushi visit and it was so haphazard and eventually the girl had to take the order. Today was similar. We had a code for free gyoza but after inputting ALL our order (a lot of small dishes for 4 people etc) it then changed to collection rather than deliver to a table. Waitress said we had to try again. I asked if she could input it and she said she could but couldn’t give us the free gyozas if she did. I almost left at this point. We then tried to re connect and re order and it took about 10 mins of looking at blank screens. My friend input everything again eventually and it went through but I was fed up by that point. Then asked for forks and were given horrible wooden disposable ones. On this basis I absolutely wont return. I despise the feel of wooden cuttlerly and if i am eating IN a restaurant i expect proper cuttlery. All In all very disappointing visit.

Nice sushi, but way over priced for what it is. Also really didn't like the new system where you have to order the plates on your phone, making it doubly expensive. Wasabi in Chinatown is much better. Wouldn't visit a Yo! Sushi again.

Don’t bother. Service is terrible. Loads of food not on the menu. Tastes of nothing. So expensive. I came here a few years ago and I loved it: I was back visiting Manchester and I wish I hadn’t wasted all this money on such dismal food. Go somewhere else. Please.

Sat next to the kitchen and food sushi -style conveyor belt - fiddly online ordering system a bit impersonal and needless. Good food, great location; oasis in busy centre.

My first time at Yo Sushi! After ordering on the app, drinks/food is sent on the smart conveyor belt, stopping at your table. Neat!I got about 90% vegan dishes, and they were all delicious (see the pic I’ve uploaded). This is specific, but I absolutely love the nori. There were several things on the 99p Menu offering fantastic value.

Amazing food, amazing service. Although feels like it has lost its magic nowadays with you having to order online rather than picking plates off the conveyor belt. I get it in a post covid world this no longer works and food is now made to order to save on waste, and your food automatically stops at your table. All great in thinking but its a little too automated. Another table picked our order off the belt, and its hard to get the attention of staff for refills as the bells have gone. Its too inpersonal nowadays. Break the mould and be original.

We’ve been wanting to go here for a while now because my 13 year old is constantly mithering me to go since the Yo Sushi take away turned up at Tescos . If you thought the Yo Sushi bar was expensive at Tesco like me then you are very wrong . We had to queue to get in , having eaten there I have absolutely no idea why people queue for this place . You have to order on your phone scanning a QR code and it’s a complete ball ache to be honest when ordering so many little dishes . Straight away I was shocked at the prices , it’s more than double what you see on the takeout section and the portions are probably three quarters smaller . The portion sizes were tiny ! It was all really basic and tasteless , I could have made so much better at home . If we had gone to McDonald’s we’d have been fuller and I hate McDonald’s. One of my dishes had brown manky salad on it . It was honestly really shoddy food , empty calories , all fur coat and no knickers . It cost a fortune too . £62 for 9 small plates (one of which we all spat out it was so horrible ) and by small plates I mean things like 3 pieces of sushi only . This was a birthday meal for my older daughter so there was 3 of us . 100% do not recommend, it’s all hype . Go somewhere else , this chain has missing links .

Really poor here the last few times. Normally a very good chain elsewhere. The rolls fell apart instantly, and rotten garnish. The pint that was served to the table (for £6) was about a third head, and it was met with displeasure when asked if it could be a full one. And belting when there was no toilet paper too afterwards! Ha. Will stick to other Yo! Sites, or Zumuku more likely when we want sushi now

Staff are young with no customer service skills at all, there was a female staff member with short hair and nose ring (looked cool) but she blatantly ignored me trying to get her attention multiple times to ask for some gluten free soya sauce which i know they have, the place is dirty, prices have sky rocketed for tiny portions, food lower quality, water served in dirty plastic glasses. I'm looking for a new sushi place. Yo sushi has gone so downhill
