Ordered a personalised Birthday cake and it is stunning ! Communication is great also.I will defiantly be using Zara cakes again in the near future.Thankyou

Unfortunately, my experience with Zara cakes has been very poor. They failed on two occasions to deliver, three if you count the date that the website allowed me to book a delivery although they were not actually able to do that. The first was my fault with an incomplete address; they then continued to use the incomplete address despite having been given the full one. After the third failure, I was promised a refund and a last attempt at delivery at their expense - this delivery arrived, one month after the original date requested. They have now decided that a refund is not appropriate. Absolutely awful customer service - a goodwill gesture should have been made.

I can’t recommend Zara Cakes enough! I get all my kids bday cakes from them as well as gifts for friends / family throughout the year. The girls are all so lovely, the attention to detail is second to none and they ALWAYS understand my ideas / themes exactly how it is in my head :). Friendly, punctual and always willing to change things at the last minute! Thanks again girls x x

Very delicious cakes my daughter 6 cup cakes for her gender reveal in few hours notice but cakes were yummy never tasted anything like that a bit pricy 20 pound for 6 but yummmy

Firstly I would like to say we have ordered a few cakes of Zara including my wedding cake which was absolutely amazing but this time my sister ordered a cake off the website (the ones that are on offer) and sadly it was overdone, hardly any jam too much buttercream and just tasted really really sweet. I am really disappointed as the standard seems to have dropped :(

Terrible customer service. After asking around a few places who couldn't make our cake exact to our picture, we contacted Zara cakes on Instagram who assured us it would be exactly like our image. We therefore agreed on a £120 cake. On collecting the cake it was not like the image we gave, tasted horrid and no replies to our messages. We were told be would get a partial refund as it was not like the image! Still no Reply. What a rip off!

Very disappointed with the customer service. I was speaking to one of their staff members Courtney and was trying to find a solution to the order i had placed recently. Instead of understanding she kept asking me to search on google how to make cakes. I had requested for a plain vanilla sponge cake with chocolate buttercream and what i received was butter icing which has a higher proportion of sugar icing in it. Which definitely did not make the cake taste good cause all i could taste was sugar. But instead of providing any support she said this is how we do and you got to deal with it we cant serve all customers with specific instructions. I would also request her to google the difference between buttercream and butter icing. When even requested that i could get a replacement with less icing so it can be edible she says we can’t do that, its not how cakes are made. She kept comparing her cakes to Asda, and other supermarkets. I guess we instead go for those options than support small businesses. As you can see in the photo vanilla sponge cake are never so dry but well this is how Zara cakes does it. It’s all about the looks nothing is about their taste or customers. So if you need fancy looking cakes for it but don’t expect great taste. I wish i could add a photo to compare with tesco/asda cake that would have been much better

I won a voucher that zara cakes had kindly donated as a prize for a charity night so today I popped over and swapped it for some cupcakes. I have just eaten one and all I can say is heaven. absolutely full of surprises and delicious. thank you Zara cakes I will be back.

Ordered cake for my little niece's birthday but was really disappointed. It was an Elsa themed cake but the outlook was not presentable, nothing like Elsa and when we cut the cake, it was all mushy from inside and falling apart. Moreover, the flavour wasn't nice as well. Was so embarrassed to serve to our guests that we had to buy a simple cake in emergency.

Great tasting cakes. Came to Manchester from London for my wife's birthday. After calling numerous cake shops and looking at reviews this is the one I chose. I'm not from the area , this was pretty close to city centre ! Great comms via email / phone. Great tasting cake! Great cake design! Highly recommend!
