Me and my mum took a trip to the Arndale and decided to go to zizzi for lunch as I’ve never been before but had a 25% off in the week so made the most of it plus signed up to the zillionaire club and got a free garlic bread which was a nice addition Inside was quiet and nice decor , we had pick of a table , got settled and ordered my mum got cider and I just opted for water We had the garlic bread to share and love how everything is labelled for peace of mind as I’m vegan and my mum has a chronic illness For mains my mum had the chicken Calabrese which was her perfect dish While I got the super zucca Roasted butternut squash tossed with fresh leaves, mixed grains, British peas, kale, pumpkin seeds, red pepper & chilli hummus and nero chickpeas. Topped with a sticky balsamic glaze however would argue not the most substantial salad for the price lacking in grains and more lettuce than anything else but a light and tasty dish none the less Pudding stole the show as we couldn’t resist the zillionaire cake and my first fudge cake in years that hit the spot along with the berry cheesecake that was a great contrast Overall a great meal and got £20 off the bill due to offers so definitely worth it If you fancy signing up to zillionaire my code referral is RF67D7Z7

Very poor experience. We had booked a table, but did not get seated until 40 minutes after our booked time. Until then, we were left to wait on the stairs with many other diners who had booked, with zero communication from staff as to why we were waiting. As a party of two, we were lucky and some larger parties in front of us had to wait even longer for their table. Atmosphere was ruined by multiple tables of shrieking banshees. Waiting staff were lovely and doing their best, but seemed understandably stressed. Maitre D' (or equivalent) hardly spoke to any of us and was wondering around with cleaning spray. When we did get to eat, food was quite nice, but overall was not an enjoyable experience.

The service was very slow, then the starters were stone cold following a long wait. After our main course had just arrived at 9pm, we were told that if we wanted to order coffee it would have to be straight away as the restaurant closed at 10pm and the coffee machine had to be switched off. We didn’t order a coffee or dessert as it was clear the staff team wanted to close the restaurant as early as possible. A very poor experience overall and we won’t be returning.

I tried Fable Shitake Mushroom Pizza and Ravioli Di Capra. The pizza was amazing, I loved it. It was my first time trying ravioli so I felt it was a bit dry, I could be wrong as I don't know the exact taste but overall I am happy with the food and service.

Booked a table on line, turned up to be faced by a massive queue. The customers booked in 45 minutes prior to our booking hadn’t been seated. Chaotic and shambolic is how I’d describe the service. Asked if we needed to book in as the confirmation email states if you’re a no show after 10 minutes they assume you’re not coming - was told no don’t worry, we know you’re all here!!! Not sure how when there was easily around 30 people waitingNever been before, not likely to return

I'd love to be able to leave a full review, but we arrived at 5.50 for a 6 o'clock reservation to be met by a long queue. No staff advising what was happening and the people at the front of queue had been waiting 30 minutes for their table. We left. All anybody needs is some communication.

Woeful. Didn't honour booking and had walk out. People queuing to top is stairs all who had bookings being told their bookings could not be honoured and would have to wait for someone to leave. A lot of tables hadn't even been served drinks let alone food and 20 minutes queuing with many people in front of us we decided if we wanted something to eat then go elsewhere. The previous time we visited the food was shocking anyway but thought we would give it another chance. Never again

Tried the Winter Zucca salad with added goats cheese (which I expected (hoped) would be warm, but wasn’t) and it was okay, but the beetroot and squash were quite firm rather than melt in the mouth tender. And I know I asked for it, but there was sooo much goats cheese on it! So it was a bit of a struggle to get though it all. My partner had the sea bass, which again was okay, but didn’t really taste that fresh. Not enough to feel we could say something, but just enough to put you off it a bit. Maybe should have stuck with pizza, but wanted to try something different. The kids meal was okay, but compared to Pizza Express (my benchmark high street pizza!) the bread and vegetable starter doesn’t really hold a candle to the Pizza Express dough balls, and the pizza itself was not quite as tasty. Service was okay; we needed a couple more minutes to finish choosing our food but then had to flag someone down about ten minutes later as they hadn’t returned. It was full-ish when we arrived but doesn’t quite have the same ambience and buzz as the Pizza Express a few doors along. Overall, perhaps it’s partly down to what we chose, but I wouldn’t hurry back.

Nicola, who claims to be the manager looked at us and decided we were not worth of her attention as we entered the restaurant. Her attitude towards was so poor, she hardly looked at while made a start to order, while we were ordering she walked away abruptly. We were left confused ?. My friend who came half way through world to visit Manchester was confused, he asked me if we did anything wrong to be treated like this. While asked if we can order food she said, we were shouting and took away our menu from the table and told us to leave. Basically we got thrown out. The only reason we can think of is discrimination. It is hard to believe to this day, such discrimination take place in a well established restaurant chain like Zizzi..

The restaurant was very busy and we had booked ahead, but service was really slow and we had several things not delivered to the table. I am gluten free so ordered from their non-gluten menu only to be told the arancini balls I wanted for a starter are cooked in the same fryer as gluten food products (so shouldn’t actually be on their allergen menu!) I had gluten free chorizo carbonara which was small basic and had very little meat in it. My friends all reported their food to be not very good. Overall very disappointing

Everyone including my very fussy 14yr old enjoyed their food and the staff could not do enough for us. We all had a wonderful experience. Thank you.

A lovely evening, servers were attentive, seated us where we wanted, nothing was too much trouble. The food was beautiful and the puddings were devine!

Service was good but food was average for the price. The Tiramisu was frozen and the prosecco was as flat as a pancake. We did make staff aware but were met with 'I'll tell the chef to defrost ot more next time'
