The Picante King Prawn was great and well seasoned, although the hanging prawns are a little awkward to remove. Their Rustica pizzas are perfectly cooked. I had requested for the food to come after a certain time as we were fasting so we wanted the food to be fresh at the time of breaking fast, the waiter very politely understood and made sure the food was cooked and ready just after breaking my fast. Overall good food and great service. Also they do accept tastecard.Dietary restrictions: no halal options however good vegetarian and seafood options.

After 2 weeks later I have found time to share my experience with Zizzi..I will try to use my words very carefully:Situation - booked a table at 6pm for 4 people. We arrived at 6pm ordered our drinks (came straight away in 5min) ordered 4 starters (for each one ) and wanted to order our main dish little bit later. Around 6.30pm waitress said they can't take any orders for main dishes as they were very busy. I said it's okay but where are our starters ? (6.45pm)Around 7pm I went out for a vape.. came back and my wife said they get free drinks for the long waiting time. Around 7.30pm I went upstairs and was sooo angry and complained to Zizzi manager that we STILL WAITING FOR OUR STARTERS (7.30pm)He said you can leave if you want! Yes his words! I said ok I'm leaving and ? He said you can leave you don't have to pay. I said ok I'm leaving!!!I went downstairs and saw my wife and friends with their starters (7.40pm) but my starter still missing, asked waitress - 19.45pm my starter arrived (picture: cold calamari) took one bite ? no comment!Final : WENT OUT - SUPERTAN OUT!It was my 2. time here :(My advice: CHANGE the managementA BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WAITERS AND WAITRESSES as they were fighting for the overbooked tables and were still trying to smile , they apologised so many times to me.. one waiter saw me and came to me and asked "are you okay " he understood that something is wrong here ..Long story short - change the management and please save this place asap!It's a pity.. super location super space to do a lot lot more better business!All what I wanted was to eat a Lasagne ?

Shivani is the best thing about this bad experience she was very caring and helpful and replaced our bad order, food taste below average and other waitresses she refused to set us on specific table cause she’s busy to cleaning it up! And then while eating she was all time on her phone and paying attention to serve or do her real job and having side conversations with other waitressesWhat a bad service and food wasn’t worth the price paid for .. horrible experience

I was very disappointed at the poor level of service from the staff. Firstly, we did not feel warmly greeted on entry. We were given a choice of tables and seated, but it too some time for us to be served. When we were finally given our drinks, we were not given pasta crisps, despite some tables around us being offered some, which was very disappointing. When the waiters came to take out order, they seemed uninterested and distracted. It was a shame as I am usually a fan of Zizzi but I was really let down by this branch and will not be returning or recommending it to anyone.

We come to Zizzis to celebrate birthdays, my favourite is the lasagna and the kids love the pizza, prices are expensive but for a birthday treat it won’t hurt now and again.Kid-friendliness: Kids feel welcome at Zizzis and do behave very well

Accepting the 30 minute per-warning for meals to arrive, we waited 50, my 9 yo starter was wrong, our starters weren’t cleared ahead of the mains arriving and when I asked for them to be cleared I didn’t even get an apology. Having asked one of the waiters how I should complain, they did admittedly ask what was wrong and having explained they said, I quote… “do complain the manager is terrible…” enough said. May just have been a bad day but as a regular Zizzi customer, this was more than disappointing. Dismal.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon and was advised there may be a 40 minute wait for food due to kitchen staff being short. Was greeted and seated by Lauren, who was attentive and diligent and kept checking everything was ok. The customer service was top notch and only had one small issue with one of the mains but this was rectified immediately and perfectly.You can get good food most places in Manchester but you do not get customer like that everywhere or even most places these days.All round brilliant experience.
