Absolutely horrified at the disgusting attitude of staff, that too because of my daughter who has special needs. If you have a child or you yourselves have special needs, I would never visit again. Just because some disabilities are hidden, doesn't mean you treat people in such a disgusting manner. When manager was called she didnt seem too remorseful either of what the staff member had done. In time like this, still shocked people do not understand Autistic people exist, and look just like them. Staff need training on how to treat special needs customers¡¡ I used to be a regular customer and it was the first time I decided to 'dine in', but never ever visiting again!!

Ordered fish chips and mushy peas. asked staff if the fish was cod which they confirmed, the fish was not fried correctly very soggy batter and was definitely not cod. Fish is plaice and is advertised as cod I will be complaining as I'm sick of establishments getting away with this they think the average customer does not know the difference. Very below average dont understand why its so busy.

Lived round oldham a long time but this shop is always packed finally yesterday we managed to get in and was served almost immediately a delicious piece of cod ,with chips and gravy along with bread and pot of tea.I must say we ve been missing out!! but will be back very soon.lovely staffand excellent food and service.thank you Levers!!!
Called in to day 4/11/2023There was 3 of us, 2 adults and the granddaughter who is partially sighted.Granddaughter had a Mcdonald's as her diet is very limited.Adults sat outside so we could order fromThe chippyWe was told quite quickly that we could not sit there as the granddaughter had a McDonald's her grandmother was in side just about to order food we did not order anything and promptly left to find another place to eat where a disabled child can eat her McDonald'sI think the behaviour of this establishment is dire to treat a disabled child the way that they it is very dire to treat any child never mind a disabled child makes me sick and obviously have no respect for the disabled or any child who doesn't buy from there fore I would never recommend this place to eat

Food was amazing. Best chippy in town and will always come back here. Parking and paid parking are available nearby. Close to bus stop and tram stop. Heart of town centre and lovely when you want a quick chippy. Prices are decent and fresh chips as well. I highly recommend who wants a chippy in town centre.
