A Chinese takeaway that does good tasty food. I've only tried a handful of dishes there: Duck in Plum Sauce, deep-fried shredded pork, General Tso's, and Kung Pao Chicken, all very tasty. There was one instance where they got the order wrong, but that's just the one time. Hopefully it doesn't happen again. You can call to order (and for delivery)to avoid paying a small extra fee compared to ordering from the website.

I have always had a takeaway from here and it’s been brilliant! Tonight spare ribs small and dry , chips ok again very dry . Chicken somases ok … curry small cost £19 not worth anyway

Lived here nearly 7 years and only just discovered this place last week. First time we ordered online for delivery, second time ordered and picked up. Salt and pepper chips and mushrooms a hit with my partner and I love the egg fried rice. They offer veggie options. Very good portion size and very friendly at pick up today! :) xxVegetarian options: Loved the veggie fried rice

Been ordering food from here for many years, but the last meal we had was very poor in taste and quality. Just wasted £50 for a family meal that at least half of it has been thrown away. Complete waste of money and won’t be ordering from here again.

I’ve Always used Happy ‘House Chinese’ at top of Sharples Hall St. The Food is always Hot , fresh, tasty , Delivered quickly if needed too!!Have recommended them hundreds of times over last few years , Be back soon,Ian??

Best Chinese we have tastest in a while our new go to Chinese the chow Mein for me personally was the best and only chow mein I have enjoyed they had thin noodles and I would ask for the egg noodles to try next time but nothing wrong with the thin ones at all.The salt and pepper ribs where meaty and very flavoury again the best ones I have tastedThe chips where good and the curry was also niceThe thing that made the whole service 5 stars was the Chippy closed at 10pm we ordered for pick up at 10:55 and they stayed open till 10:10 which is fabulous customer service. Would definitely recommend thank you so much!!

What a joke.Crispy shredded chilli beef is soggy and chewy.Prawns in green and black pepper sauce tastelessBoth sauces in prawns and crispy beef like water and tasteless.What a waste of 30 quid!Order from happy family down the road won't make that mistake againWon't be ordering again.
