I personally would say that this is the best Indian restaurant in Oldham and perhaps beyond. It's big enough to hold a reasonable sized party of people/family, yet small enough to enjoy a more private or intimate meal experience. Even when there is a reasonable sized party in there, there is still room for that intimate experience too.Staff are excellent, second to none and treat you with the utmost respect.Kid-friendliness: There's not a play area as such but it is kid friendly and nice to see kids enjoying their experience too.

Been using this establishment for over 20 years dine in and takeaway Never any issues with food and service, Unfortunately on our visit tonight had a nice meal as usual…but on checking the bill we had been charged £6.45p for half a pint of cobra beer and a pint of soda water with a dash of blackcurrant we obviously questioned this and the nice waiter who came to take our payment about the cost and was told it was £3.95 for the soda and blackcurrant! (Only paid £1.50 in The Midland Hotel in Manchester) We advised this seemed a bit steep to say the least but was duly advised it was the managers decision? We duly paid but left no tip and we have always tipped well Sad really but we won’t now return or use for delivery’s, there are many many restaurants serving the same food in this area so time to move on sadly There was only ourselves in the whole restaurant until 4 more arrived as we were leaving and it was early Saturday evening unfortunately If prices are given like this to pull back profit due to being less busy may give back some profit but in the long term you lose by footfall and recommendations.

There are so many Indian restaurants it’s almost impossible to find one that stands out. New Sagor is one that does. The prices are so reasonable and the food is exceptional. Always a warm welcome and, slightly out of the main town of Oldham, it’s a short drive to one of the best in the area.

Went to sagor to try a new Indian somewhere near, sat down ordered drinks then the electricity went (not their fault) we chose to wait for half an hour and still no electricity we then left and was still made to pay for drinks!
