Awful experience. Came here for a birthday meal, booked in advance. The waiter was rude and unhelpful. He was dismissive with our queries about the set meal options and contradicting what was written on the menu. We asked for the manager to help with our query, who came over and was incredibly patronising, repeatedly rolling his eyes and very condescending. We decided to leave without ordering and as we stood the manger whilst seating other customers rudely said "are you ready to leave now" offering no apology and didn't care about upsetting or losing customers. All in all very rude and would not recommend. Until today, I had never left a restaurant before ordering! We ended up going to Forts of India in Whitefield the food was fantastic and the service was excellent.

I have never been before, highly recommended by my daughter who has. Went last night, was amazing, big portions, food just incredible. Very, very, impressed. Staff are really nice. Will be back.

we decided to try this place out for the first time I was greeted by a woman who was quite pleasant however, the staff who asked if we’d like drinks and to order food was so rude, I was heavily pregnant at the time my partner wanted to order food however I wanted something small, so only asked for chips they was so rude and told me I couldn’t order something small? He then went and got the chef not sure why to question me, and told me I can’t! If I’m dining here or if i decided to dine for one drink you should allow it, if it’s going in your pocket and your making money from me then you shouldn’t refuse service so in the end I only ended up paying for the drinks we purchased and left. I would never go here ever again.

Lovely Food as always, just wish the soft drinks stayed fizzy. Seems like they are bottle poured so they go flat within 10-15

Really good food, nice to find an Indian that does a paneer option with all the curry dishes. Definitely the best vegetarian friendly curry house around that I know of ( Except Lily's Kitchen in Ashton). Only downside is on both occasions Ive been 2x curry, 2x rice, 2x naan and 4 beers costs around £80.Vegetarian options: Very good paneer option with every curry

2/9/23 Tonight I introduced 33 people to the delights of Jonny and all the lovely staff at The Lime Tree. Booked in plenty of advance and kept him updated on guest numbers everyone had a fantastic time and I'm sure they will be back for more. The food was excellent as always. Everyone ordering different meals, we were there for the evening chatting and mingling so the meal was at a nice slow pace as we had all been look forward to our 'curry night' and didn't want it to end. Thank you Lime Tree.

Recently visited here as a big group attending a meal with friends, service was slow and poor. The staff (in particular the manager) was extremely rude and vile and spoke to us in a disgusting manner. How they are the manager I do not know, absolutely appalling attitude towards customers. Do not waste your money, the food was average nothing spectacular and the wait is long for a bang average meal. Avoid at all cost!!!!

Always great food, great service. Very friendly staff. Also the separate vegan menu makes it much easier to order

1/7/23Were here again had a date night, we hadn't booked and was busy when we got there about 6:30 so we had a drink and after a half hour we got seated and had a lovely tasty meal. Poppadoms and a mixed platter for starters and lime tree special for mains.Best little curry house in Prestwich. Went back again this week after the re decor and it looks amazing, thought I would have something different instead of my usual and chose the Shahi Murgh Masala it was such a tasty dish, can't wait to go back and try something new.

We decided to get a take away and chose The Lime Tree. Easy to order over the phone, went to pick up half an hour later. Food was delicious, fresh and tasty. Friendly staff. Will be back for a meal and also will use take away again.

Lovely food. Every dish we had was all cooked perfectly. Staff were very friendly and were amazing with my children. Food was also reasonably priced and it has a nice relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be returning! ?Vegetarian options: Plenty of variety for vegetariansKid-friendliness: Staff were amazing with my children, even my 2 year old enjoyed it.
