We went there tonight for our granddaughters 5th birthday. 7th of January 2024.It was amazing. The food was great but what made it was the waiters. When the cake was presented after the mains the waiter tapped his glass and asked for our granddaughter to make a speech which she kind of did. These guys could not do enough for us.We had the pizza which was to die for.Forget the food (which was gorgeous)The waiters Amazing .Thanks so much for the experience ❤️

We booked for an early evening on a bustling Saturday, and despite the crowd, the service was prompt and efficient, thanks to the fantastic team.The food selection catered wonderfully to both adults and children in our group, offering a wide array of choices that left no one wanting. The staff were notably attentive, ensuring our drinks and meal orders were taken and served without any delay.As a wheelchair user, I was particularly impressed with the accessibility of the venue, which provided a ramp for easy access. This is our "go-to" place to go for a meal for any occasion and we love it so much we had our Wedding & Reception here.The Food & Service are amazing and we have never had a bad meal in the many years we have been coming.The Fillet Steak is probably one of the best you will ever have!The staff are always polite and welcoming and the price is on par with restaurants of this calibre.10/10Parking: Parking is never a problem unless you come on a day when a wedding/reception is taking place so it may be best to ask about this when you book a table although the car park is large and you also have on street parking outside the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: The gravel carpark may be a little tricky to navigate but the lower restaurant is more than capable of accommodating wheelchairs with a ramp etc

Lovely food. I have had a stroke and am partially sighted with mobility issues. No lift to the pizzeria, so obvs no access for wheelchair users . Is this allowed? No accessible toilet.? No real music, just some annoying background noise. Please play some soft Italian music. PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ESPECIALLY WHEELCHAIR USERS DONT GO.! I will be reporting this place for discrimination.Wheelchair accessibility: Absolutely none. Disgusting asked the long term bar staff and he said wheelchairs users would have to go downstairs and it is more expensive?

Ruined our Christmas.We were looking forward to celebrating my daughter’s 1st Christmas here today. What a disappointment. We were a table of 9 in the function room.Once seated we waited 40 minutes for the waiter to take our drinks order. We asked 3 times for someone to take our order and we got shunned.Finally the waiter came and took them and our food order, he was so rude to us. He made us feel like we were really putting him out. We were forced to pick desert before we had eaten, which is not great.There was such a long wait between starter and main. When it came my mums salmon was cold. My 91 year old grandma asked for a small plate and it came the same size as my mums and she was completely over faced.Now onto the most shocking thing of all! They had the deserts all out on display for 2 hours with no cover over them near the bar and door where people were gathering and coughing! Disgusting!They also had a microwave on this table which the waiters were using to heat the Christmas puddings in full display of guests! Absolutely disgraceful. They were also opening packets of Mr.Kiplings mince pies and plating them. Almost £90 per head and not even a homemade mince pie!The bill came, and of course it was wrong. Nothing but attitude from the waiter when trying to sort it out.I understand they are busy, but the service was shocking and food very mediocre. They needed more staff or less tables. For £80+10%, the best part of £90 per head it was absolutely appalling.Completely ruined what should have been such a special day for us as a family. We are so so disappointed.

Food was terrible, I wouldn't go again.Meatballs were cold but the sauce was hot. Veal was terrible and I'm sure the veg was from the day before re heated.... Probably the whole meal was re heated going off the taste...Very poor food.

Unfortunately the quality of food served in this restaurant has gone downhill. Sorry to say I won't be dining here again. Very disappointed as the staff and ambiance is great but it's the food we are paying for.

We try to visit Bella vista as often as we can as we've been eating here for years. We always look forward to coming and the staff, restaurant, food is always awesome. Food was nicely presented and had great flavours. Drink service was a little slow and had to ask twice to get them to the table, after which our receipt showed an extra bottle of wine. The waiter quickly rectified that though. The toilets were disappointingly messy and grubby and could have easily been cleaned/tidied on a regular check.
