called in with friends in the early evening . friendly helpful staff great choice of ales grand atmosphere , pub was busy the football was on the telly and it was still warm enough to make the most of the outside seating area

I was barred from this expensive Pub last night for remarking that the handling of beer and beer glasses was not very clean .The wiping up of dog piss and a wipe before serving pints was sufficient for an argument with the TenantMore a kennel than a public house !!!!A favourite in the past , now one to be avoided .!!!!!.More pups than pub .!!!.

Great pub in the middle of Stalybridge. Staff are always welcoming. Plenty of room inside with nice decor and a large beer garden at the back.

Early doors on Monday night, stopped in on the way home, a live band playing and a good selection of beers.Really friendly atmosphere, smack in the centre of Stalybridge.

Served by app, service was reasonable.prices average. Outside seating. No parking except on street. Entrance for all people. I went in here for a quick drink. Plenty of alcohol and ales on sale reasonably priced and competitive, some with the local spoons.some of the seating was comfortable and cosy, so there has been some changes from when I was last in there.
