“We have been to the restaurant this evening . The food was fine but we we were very disappointed to find that the small amount of prawn crackers offered as we walked in before we saw the menu were charged at £ 3.60 on the final bill. I could' nt challenge this as we were rushing for a bus. This in our opinion is excessive and has put us off straight away. In other similar restaurant's prawn crackers to begin are offered free of charge.”

“Bejing City is definitely more of a chinese restaurant than a chippy. If you're after a proper chippy then you're best going for salty towers in the underbank if it's not too late in the day. Not that Beijing City is bad, I still love a chips and sausage from here when I come, it's just not that classic chippy style some might be after. If you're coming for a proper chinese then you're gonna get the best though. Their salt n pepper box is great, I wish they gave you a tub of sweet n sour sauce instead of curry with it though but I'm always too anxious to ask if they'd change it for me!!! Staff are usually really pleasant, there's one lady in particular that we're always really happy to see, she's always lovely. Beijing City is very tasty food with good prices in a good location, open later than lots of other places. Go for it!”

“I'm new to the area, this is the closest chinese takeaway to my place so thought I'd give it a try in person.\\nOrdered a special fried rice (dry version)\\na great egg fried rice base (not too oily) and good mixed meats, large strips of chicken, char sui pork, beef, and large King prawns perfectly cooked.\\nHad a smattering of a sweet red sauce on top to mix in, really added to the flavour.\\nA pretty good fried rice, friendly service so I will try some more dishes from Top Wok.”
