Can't thank everyone enough! Went for my birthday drinks. Didn't want a big party just a few drinks and a bit of food. Paul and Tony were so accommodating letting us have the back room. buffet was lovely especially the beef in Yorkshire puddings. Staff are always second to none, nothing is ever too much to ask. Thank you all for a fabulous night xx

Thankyou to Paul and Tony for a lovely evening. The real coal fire fire burning brought back wonderful memories and the ambient atmosphere was wonderful. We were only drinking and like many local residents, we have overlooked this establishment for far too long, but this is now firmly going to be on our hit list.Happy Christmas to all the staff.Parking: Excellent.

You continue to be (in my opinion) the best public house for miles around. Thank you. My 'Little Ladies' family love the pub but they have lots of other commitments.

Spoilt for choice with the Christmas menu, Wonderful service lovely staff. For starters we had the winter tomato soup and prawn cocktail, soup was wonderfully warming and filling, the prawns were so fresh and plentiful. Christmas turkey dinner for 2 was beautiful, the turkey was cooked to perfection and huge slices, all the trimmings were gorgeous. Husband is gluten free and no problems at all. Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce was scrumptious. Will be back soon. Thank you Paul and Tony for a truly lovely evening.
