Visited twice in December and both times were great. The food was excellent with a good choice, the service was very good and the atmosphere just right. Would highly recommend it.

Another great sociable night at Peruga! With a variety of menus there is something for everyone. Last night’s Ed Sheeran tribute act was excellent and had the dance floor packed. Even with a full restaurant the staff were charming and efficient. Highly recommended!

26 members of Romiley WI walking group met here for lunch today What a fabulous experience The food was delicious and was hot despite there being so many of us. The staff were efficient and made sure we enjoyed our meal 26 women and not a single grumble ..certainly 5 stars ! We will be back

We go out for Sunday lunch every couple of weeks or so with my partner's long standing friend who lives in Marple. They'd been to the 'old' Peruga before and I spotted this whilst looking in the area so I booked, and I'm really glad I did. We had a nice quite table in corner of the dining room with the only slight negative it was a little bit cold in the room. Nice cutlery and proper napkins too. We all had roast dinners, one beef, one lamb and one turkey. I read a comment on here about slow service but we waited less than ten minutes and the food was fresh, well presented and delicious. All the vegetables were hot (getting to be unusual these days) and all I could think of to improve it would be to heat the plates but nobody's perfect. I had an apple strudel with ice cream for pudding and it was utterly delicious, plenty of apples with perfect pastry! Two of us had coffees to round off a really good lunch, one of the best we've had for quite a while. To top if all off the staff were perfect and it offers tremendous value for money. Highly recommended and we'll be back :-)

Had a great evening at Peruga for Spanish Tapas night on Saturday 19th August. Small plates of food kept on coming & a tasty variety to choose from. Staff & atmosphere lovely & very good value for money.

Went for Sunday lunch. The venue was slightly 80’s with only around 4 tables booked whilst we were dining. We really didn’t mind as the staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was what we made it. The restaurant is within the golf club function room.The food was excellent. For mains my wife had roast beef which was perfectly cooked. I had the chicken with dauphinois potatoes. Again it wasn’t dry but succulent and complimented well with the cream sauce. My children had pasta from the children’s menu with generous portions.The price of the meal for what we got was outstanding. Midweek they do a set menu of two or three courses for less than £15. Will I go back? Absolutely. Probably one of the best kept secrets in the hospitality trade. Unfortunately for us I can’t see it lasting as the word will get round.

We held our Golden Wedding party at Peruga and we had a wonderful time . We had 56 family and friends aged 3yrs to 93yrs to celebrate with us and every one had a great time. The food and the venue were perfect but what made the event exceptional was the staff. They were friendly ,helpful and efficient. We would highly recommend Peruga for any special occasion.

We were a party of 4 visiting for the first time. The dining room was spacious and we had a table by the window which afforded us a good view. We enjoyed the 3 course set lunch which was excellent. The coffee was a little disappointing but when we mentioned it to the waitress it was soon put right. Overall a relaxing and enjoyable visit - we will return

We held our daughters surprise baby shower. At the peruga. The staff were amazing, the buffet was superb Thank you so much for making it such a special day .

Booked the special lunchtime meal with a friend, we didn't know what to expect, and we were not disappointed! The set meal was 2 courses for £12 or 3 for £15. There was a good choice for each course, and the food was great and decent portion sizes. The staff were very friendly and did not rush us at all. The location of the golf club is good with lovely views across the course. I will definitely be booking again!
