“Best chip Shop in Marple. Walk into Whittaker’s feeling hungry. Leave full, happy, and slightly convinced that their fryer is powered by pure magic. The fish? So crispy it probably has a TikTok account. The chips? Golden, fluffy, and clearly cut from potatoes that lived good, fulfilling lives! Can't beat it! Don't forget the salt and plenty of vinegar!”

“Absolutely would recommend. A real hidden gem. Had been searching for a seafood restaurant in Greater Manchester as we used to have loads but all have gone or closed down. Stumbled across this online and booked a table to give it a chance. Turned up, fishmongers shop front looks quite unassuming and we started worrying about if we’d made a mistake. Appearances as they say can be deceiving, behind the shop is a beautiful little restaurant setting. We had the “taste of the sea” platter between 3 of us - you can’t even see the full thing in my picture but it was totally worth the £70. Will definitely return to try more.”
