Great dog friendly pub in the middle of Heaton Moor. We had selections of small plates, nachos, melted came Bert, chicken goujons, and cauliflower dippers. Delicious. You really need to book to avoid disappointment Thurs, Sat and Sunday.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower dippers

It gets very busy at the weekend. Good blend of young and old
Nice place for a pint, busy at weekends however never seems to have a queue at the bar, usually able to get a table too.

Good food but delivery was poor Note this was a 2pm booking for Sunday roast so not particularly late . 1st apology No beef on menu We Ordered drinks starters and mains Asked for better table as we had to use the phone light to read menu No other tables despite 2 next to us were empty Waitress returned with 2nd apology No camembert or sourdough for starter Changed order Waitress returned with 3rd apology No pigs in blankets as an extra side available The food we did get however was very tasty. Was expecting at least a management apology but for a limited menu to have most of it unavailable at that time of the day was poor.

Food generally very good, service excellent, but it was very quiet. Haddock wasn't the best, but burger, chips and veg very good.
