Did click and collect for an advent calendar, got to the store the day the email said it would be available from (in the evening), girl had a bad attitude and made out that I should have waited for a \\\"ready to collect\\\" email which I wasn't informed about and that due to a printer problem the order couldn't be completed. She was also very patronising to the other sales clerk who was friendly and willing but was clearly new to the job. Eventually she suggested she do the collection then and there to which I said of course. Two days later when I gifted the calendar I saw that it had been opened already, which I find hard to believe that the sales assistant did not notice as it was clearly damaged. I contacted customer support who said they would replace it and then several days later messaged to say they had sold out so they would just refund the cost of the calendar. I find this a bit disappointing as I had driven all the way from Merseyside to pick it up and basically ended up with nothing and no compensation.

Love the hotel chocolate shop, beautiful shop, chocolates and drinks. Some friends bought us some a few years ago and now we can't stop buying them. Great for gifts, we got 2 boxes of chocolates and a bottle of liquor. Well worth a visit if your a chocolate fan.A little bit pricey but delicious.

Great chocolate. Halloween gifts alongside Christmas now in stock.

This place does amazing hot chocolates as well as a wide variety of chocolate slabs and individual treats. The peanut butter hot chocolate is my favourite and I love the 'Milk to Caramel' chocolate selections. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth the treat every now and then.

Please explain why every shop I've been in the staff are lovely but today I was met with a miserable face and no interaction at all. A smile or a simple hello goes a long way. We spend a lot of money for this quality product and would be nice like the other stores to be welcomed. Please brief the staff how to smile and not treat you as if your invisible. Even at checkout she didn't even look at me just handed the bag!!. Very professional NOT. We will be switching shops from now on. Wished we hadn't spent here now, what a difference a smile or interaction makes to make you feel welcome...

Delicious! Well worth popping in and treating yourself and other chocolate lovers in your company with anything from this store.

One of our favourite places to go. The fiance has a Hotel Chocolat account so he always buys end of season chocolates on offer. But this particular store its never overally busy and the staff are very polite and friendly.

Visited 4th time within a month to have billionaire sundae and was informed that machine wasn’t working or they were out of stock.Friendly staff but seems like management is not in their best position.

Poor experience unfortunately, this store looks to clearly have poor management, the staff were the most miserable team I have encountered for a long time, no store welcome or even a "are you looking for anything in particular?" Then when I asked a question they gave a plain old no with no knowledge of an alternative. Love the product but won't be visiting this store again, I will travel to Harrogate.

Great shop was a little busy so it made the shop feel small. Staff are pleasant and on hand if you need them

It was expensive but rammed with top quality goodies.

A fabulous shop with the most friendly, polite and helpful staff. In fact, I would say the best staff in all the Trafford Centre.
