Just had a takeaway from papa dons after hearing some great things. And it did not disappoint!! My new go to takeaway. We had the pad Thai, the beef brisket, wings, S&P chips, curry sauce. Was absolutely fantastic.

Have been wanting to go here for a while now, and after seeing the reviews, I thought I would give it a try.Small and intimate restaurant/cafe, we wanted to sit in and eat but was jokingly told they were fully booked. There were 4 people eating. Whether this is true or not, I'm not sure.We were advised to order takeout instead.The food did not disappoint! I would like to go back and try other dishes and hopefully get the chance to sit in. The sweet and spicy ribs were the best ribs I have ever tasted, Prawn tom yum soup was flavoursome. Chicken thai basil was tasty also. Delicious no complaints.

Cosy and wholesome, some of the best Thai food we’ve had outside of Thailand. We love it here! Staff are helpful and really nice!Parking: Available along the full side street that Papa Don sits on, with the exception of in front of a nearby garage

Absolutely amazing Thai food! Love their Hainanese chicken rice, raw shrimp and mango sticky rice. Other food like Pork Knuckle rice, Tom Yum, soft shell crab mango salad, etc, are all above average. This is closer to what i have for Thai food in Hong Kong, not sure if its authentic, but definitely delicious enough for me to come back for more!

An absolute gem tucked away in a side street at Gorse Hill, Stretford.Delightfully delicious food, reasonable prices, cooked to order and satisfyingly filling.Very nice service too, both times that I have been there.Wide range of drinks, not sure if they sell alcohol though, as we never looked or asked for anything alcoholic.Free on street parking.If you like Thai food I definitely recommend a visit.We will be going again.Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be ordered with just vegetables or tofu, if you don't eat meat or fish.

A friend recommended this place, said everything on the menu is yummy, so I wasn't sure what to order. In the end I got a Thai street braised pork with rice (so soft and delicious sauce!), we shared a Thai basil soft shell crab (super yummy!), and my partner ordered the Khao Soi Fried Chicken Noodle Soup (amazing coconut curry!). The restaurant is very small so book in advance if its the weekend!
