The food was nice. Salt and pepper chips were plenty and very nice and crispy as well. The duck fried rice was a first time for me and I can definitely recommend. The interiors are nicely decorated and clean. Even got greeted by a bowl of prawn crackers 10 seconds within sitting down! I would recommend.

The staff were very friendly, we didn't have to wait long for our food and the food was delicious.

Absolutely dreadful meal tonight. Filleet Steak ??? Which was absolutely NOT fillet and poor argumentative service. We have used this restaurant for years (under different names)but this was a disgrace. The place was almost empty. We won't be rushing back which is a shame when they absolutely no competition in the area.

The food was delicious.

Food was very bland, overcooked, and the chicken had a very couple of days old vibe going on.It was the first time trying this place and the last. Also found it quite expensive for what you got.

Not sat in the restaurant yet, but the take out food is very nice, could be a little cheaper, but tasty all the same.

Formerly the Empire - food just as good as before. I would recommend the lemon chicken. Staff are very friendly and service is great. It may have been sorted now but when we were there they had problems with the lighting and a spotlight was shining right on our

Food excellent, service excellent. Decor in room to right cold and no atmosphere. Needs warmer colours on walls and slightly dimmer lighting.

Brilliant venue. Requested an authentic Cantonese dish amongst other options and were all excellent. Perfectly seasoned and not too salty. Crispy duck was crispy but not dry and plenty of pancakes. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Above all, great service and great food at a modest price. Cannot recommend more highly. A must visit 10/10. Thank you ?Parking: Good amount of parking directly outside restaurant!

Tried charging us £4 a pop for a pint of vimto that wasn’t even on the menu. No prior warning. When we tried to come to some sort of understanding (given the £60 plus food tab we ran up between two) the management were extremely hostile. Food average, zero atmosphere, wouldn’t recommend. Not even top ten Chineses around here by a long chalk.

Quality of food served is amazing, though prices higher than expected. Staff very welcoming.

The food both looked and tasted amazing.. it was hard not to drool. Never had prawn toast this good anywhere. Staff were professional and friendly. The cleanliness was unparalleled, after a party would leave, the area is sanitised, wiped and brushed meticulously in preparation for the next lucky party. The lady kindly offered to buy my daughter an ice-cream.(to which she turned down because our bellies were bursting). So she recieved a Lucky Bag with goodies in.Glad i didn't take notice of some previous reviews because i would have missed out on a lovely experience.Yes it was expensive, but everywhere is atm. But for an odd special occasion, i don't mind paying for quality. Thanks everyone at Taihing.
