Only went in on NYE for a quick drink because the restaurant we booked didn't have a table ready. Will definitely return, if only for the bargain prices.

Dreadful... Staff couldn't care less. Tables dirty, chairs broken, carpet and floor dirty.Staff member accidentally smashed a glass next to my friend covering his clothes in glass and drink dregs, didn't get an apology, offer of a cloth or anything, basically they couldn't care less. Absolutely awful customer service, probably the worst we have ever seen. Can't believe how bad this Wetherspoons is considering that locally the Sale branch is so much better and every other wetherspoons we've been in beats this one hands down.Come on Wetherspoons, put some effort and a few pounds in to sort this place out.

Brought my son here for his usual, a chicken bites basket, and he found it to be scrumdiddlyumptious. The chips were bigger than a baby's arm and so tasty. He says the tables were so clean , and he always leaves the Tim bobbin happier than a very happy thing. Merry Christmas

Me and my boyfriend and 3 friends who were visiting from London tried to enter this spoons at approx 11pm and were greeted with a door man who told us that no groups were allowed. The doorman then proceeded to ask if any of our group were couples. Me and my boyfriend responded saying that we were a couple, which the doorman responded “ no be serious” and completely avoided our claim, he did not believe we were a couple and did not let any of us into the establishment even tho we did not pose any threat and we just wanted a drink. We view this as serious homophobia and advise any LGBT couple to avoid this pub. We hope that Wetherspoons replace this doorman and educate their personal on adequate guest management and not to subject any of their guests to homophobia. What a shame in this day and age that young couples and friends are subjected to this.

Tremendous atmosphere, you'll need to wait a bit in a queue, but definitely a great place for a beer. Very good prices. Can't rate the food

What a bargain english breakfast £3.11 including coffee (freedom). But then I don't just come for the breakfast, the staff are smashing too. One member even got my coffee because I use a walking stick.
