I was in the store on Sunday 20 Nov with my three boys. My eldest who is Autistic and has other conditions had a massive meltdown. The staff off th security desk where sol helpful, reassuring and nice and another member of staff took my younger boys so I didn't have to worry about them as well. The staff were amazing!!

I only review store which something amazing or alright thing has happened. The store is great and all. My one star is missing because of the treatment of Asda staff the store is under staffed. The staff are ran of their feet!!!

Visited Asda Wigan today to get a few bits and thought we would get some presents whilst they had a lot of nice things that seemed to be 3 for 2, well what an absolutely nightmare!\\n\\nWe went to the aisle with all the 3 for 2, the aisle clearly labelled with 3 for 2 and we also asked a member of staff who confirmed the items we had was 3 for 2 only to get to the till and be told it’s not, how is this possible, they couldn’t answer why they are in that aisle and wouldn’t give reason, what a joke of a store and the manager should get things sorted in the aisles proper!

I've make big shopping on Saturday evening but there was no cashier and I had to do all scanning all by my self. For what's called superstore it's embarrassing. Really bad shopping experience, will never go to Asda again , there is no such problem with Aldi or Lidl , there's always cashier. Shame on you Asda

Disgusting store. Vegetables go out of date within 2 days and the meat produce is even worse. I bought a packet of chicken thighs that went out the day after I bought them, making it impossible to do the weekly shop. Customer service is pointless, everyone who works there looks miserable.

Never liked this place since moving from Blackpool which it's main course supermarket is Morrisons. Sadly no Morrisons near me in Newtown. Wigan Asda remains as one of the worst supermarkets ever. Staff are hard to find, they don't know what their selling, self service convayer belt checkouts always breaking down. Freezing in winter boiling in summer. As disabled no chance to get items stocked 8 feet high. Aggressive customer service managers hate giving a refund or replacement for wrong or damaged item. Cafe ummm cold breakfasts, one coffee machine that breaks down almost every day, no milk, staff not motivated. Not impressed!!!

Mens toilets are horrible, one urinal is constantly leaking urine and floor is always wet, I assume with urine. The cubicles are just as bad regularly blocked with feces on seat and walls. I think that speaks for itself.

Great Asda, giant store with lots of side stores inside (Greg's, Krispy kreme cabinet) but the customer service/ tills are quite slow
Someone spat at me.But all together it is a quite good place I go here all the time with my family and they have fresh stuff like chicken and pizza at the hot counter.Solid 4 stars!!

Everytime you go to this store there are beggars on each entry counted 6 on one day will be shopping elsewhere in future so will many others ive spoken to.did complain once to security but all they said was 'we move them on but it does no good' doesnt happen at sainsburys or tesco so they will be getting all our custom in future.

I was trying to find a charger for my phone and was approached by a security guy who thought I was up to no good, but sadly for him I wasn’t. He was a little rude thinking he was clever but he did manage to tell me what I needed which wasn’t his job as he could have advised wrong. That wasn’t my main issue today I was in the same Wigan store and that same guy was on the George entrance being very loud and rude to people and talking down to people again trying to be clever. Whoever he is get him off the floor he needs re-training I’m sure he shouldn’t be talking to members of the public the way he is. He’s not young and should know better.

Generally decent store on the day but overnight is appalling. Often have only 2 self serve kiosks on from 11 onwards - is it really that difficult to have one staff oversee more than 2? Usually manned by a large lady with glasses (didn't catch her name) who clearly hates her job and despises customers even more, incredibly rude to customers and have heard her ridicule customers to their faces and loudly in front of them to other staff for as little as having issues with kiosk bagging area - by far has the worst customer service I've ever seen in any store, period.

Can someone please turn the music down in Asda.. I called in this morning.. friday 30 th and it was the loudest it has ever been. I mentioned it to the check out girl and she said it was left loud from the might staff who like it like that. I do ask nicely if it can be turned down and have been told by a manager that staff complain if it is too low!!
