£3.80 each for a disgusting, watery hot chocolate. They were all made with hot water and powder rather than milk. They were not stirred so there were lumps of powder at the bottom. We won't make the mistake of eating or drinking here again.

We had a brilliant day at Beaulieu, but wished we had taken a packed lunch and avoided this awful restaurant. Despite arriving at midday, with a half empty restaurant, we encountered a 40 minute delay for the food, did not get the tea and coffee in one go, and then had no mild with it. The food when it arrived was mediocre and very expensive. The whole dining experience needs sorting out, Its a blot on the Beaulieu site!

Beaulieu is an amazing place but the restaurant really lets it down. Expensive and the burger was very shallow and pedantic. Seen more appetising road kill. staff where nice but the food.... Think I'll starve next time.

Terrible food and expensive. Ordered the £12.50 "Classic Burger", I assume it had been laying around somewhere for a while and mildly reheated, was solid very overcooked and cold, the chunk of pale tomato was bigger than the burger. I have never taken food back before, but this was beyond bad, I got a refund and went hungry.Wife's Mac and cheese was mediocre at best, the kids chips were petite for £4.50 each. The garlic bread was oily but at least edible. Near £50 for four of us with drinks. The server dropped the cutlery in my coffee, got new cutlery but didn't replace my coffee. The Mc Donald's on the way home was far far superior in every way, and less than half the price.Beaulieu was wonderful, the restaurant appalling. Next visit we are taking a packed lunch.

Clean and modern restaurant with decent food at a reasonable price. It is too noisy for me when it is busy. But fine when less busy. Similarly the serving staff cannot cope at busy times and the queue became very long and slow.Dietary restrictions: Nice gluten free and vegan options.

Wasn’t too bad, the QR CODE order system unfortunately did not work for us nor for many people, we did arrive after lunch so not a huge queue. 20 min wait for our food seemed reasonable.Kids ate up everything!Bill came to £40 including drinks for 4 people

how can such a awful restaurant exist inside such lovely surroundings, waiter didnt bother to clean our table from the customers who sat before us, food was cold, they got our order wrong, online self ordering service is dreadful considering you have no signal to begin with! so we went through the fuss of registering to the free wifi to find out the self order app didnt work anyway. Possibly the worst place to eat that I have ever visited.

Waited an hour for a mac and cheese. Was cold, runny and tasted like water. Put some salt on it and then it tasted like salt water instead. Table was dirty and they didn’t have any spray or cloths for us to wipe it ourselves

Had a cold drink and a cake here after a long day visiting Beaulieu. The cake was homemade, fresh and very good. My husband also tried a cake which was delicious too. However we haven’t tried the restaurant we were just here for a little snack.

Mediocre meal: Leathery-skinned jacket, small side salad with mean tuna-mayo filling. Mocha luke warm and tasted of plastic! Disappointing overall - lets down an otherwise good day out. Untrained staff. Get your act together Beaulieu!

I can see why this restaurant is not reviewing well.A very limited menu with small portions , poor quality and expensive. We had 2 Brie and bacon panini ,I child pizza ,a coffee and a soft drink and kissed good bye to the best part of £30 . Shame as the museum is very good . Eating out in this country has come a long way but not here .

Had a superb fish and chips lunch. Piping hot! Staff very helpful and friendly.

The price of a very small half potato (child portion) only Luke warm with a few flakes of processed cheese is probably dearer per kilo pro rata, than steak and chips in a posh restaurant

Long slow queue as others have said. Jacket potato microwaved and tasteless. Chilli on top appeared to have come from a jar- didn’t see any meat. Burger looked like a cheap frozen job and was barely edible. Pizzas were okay although the adult one wasn’t that much bigger than the kids. Extremely expensive which I wouldn’t mind if it was decent, quality food. Absolute rip off. Take a packed lunch. Don’t waste your money.
