The only saving grace from my experience was the service, which the young girl was really nice to provide. The food was unfortunately terrible. Sim Oishi seems to have gone downhill for the last few months. Food used to be really good but it took a turn for the worse. The noodles tasted absolutely awful and very industrial made, worse than instant noodles. This used to be a very nice place to stop and eat, do not know what's changed.

Dined at The Shed as delivery was predicting about an hour and a half. Glad we did, it got us our favourite meal from this venue. The counter was unmanned when we arrived but it didn’t take long for a member of staff to appear. Neither welcoming nor unwelcoming, he served our food which was hot and plentiful. We did have to ask for forks, the pot was empty, and soy sauce for our gyoza. We went for a combination meal with noodles. Blooming good it was too. The Shed itself was cold so we had to eat in our coats, not sure how the staff work in those temperatures. Maybe that’s why they didn’t make eye contact or speak, it’s January and they were cold. Remains a firm favourite of ours but will probably stick to home delivery on a week day when it maybe quieter

Another fantastic meal from Siam Oishi tonight. We decided to have a couple of drinks at the Shed and get some food to eat in. The food was as perfect as always and the service was super. Thank you SO team! The perfect end to a tough day.

We order from here every so often, ordered online today and have noticed they now have a large and regular option that never existed before. We ordered the regular and this is smaller than the previous one option regular, so basically the old normal size is now a large and a smaller portion has been introduced as a regular, a cheeky way of sticking £2-£3 on each dish. Also, the noodles are so overly sweet that you could stick custard on them.Basically not worth the money anymore.

I was treated to lunch here yesterday and it was really delicious. There was so much choice and all the dishes were on display, bubbling away. I had yakisoba noodles with half a portion of salmon teriyaki and half a portion of chicken teriyaki as I couldn't decide which to have. My partner had sweet and sour chicken with rice. The portions are generous and everything was completely delicious as well as being very reasonably priced, (Main courses under £10). I especially enjoyed the sauces and the crunch of the just blanched carrot really added to the texture. I bought 2 trays of 5x chicken and veg Gyoza with sesame dip for lunch today. Again really tasty. I have an egg allergy and the owner, who served us talked me through each dish. I will definitely be going again.

I’ve honestly had better petrol station sushi :( they’re bland small and dry, which is really disappointing because it’s the only sushi joint for miles. What a tease. Dumplings are cold and crusty. I’ve come here several times too and it’s always the same.

Not very good overall good service and the sushi we had one lunch time a week or so back was great. however we had the pork panang curry which was a little grainy with curry powder or something and not very nice at all we also tried the salmon teriyaki and sweet chilli chicken there's a lack of veg like carrot and onion in the chicken and it was way too sweet might as well call it chicken in a very sweet sugar sauce and the teriyaki sauce was also too sweet and very thick possibly been out and dried up but the sweetness on both were way over the top. nothing on kokoro for them.

The chicken was greasy and vile we had it when they first opened and it was delicious. This time the chicken was tough and absolutely swimming in oil

Not a sushi restaurant/ bar. It is mainly a hot takeaway joint. I went there for dinner at 0600pm but there was only two types of sushi on display. Unless it’s made from scratch. This takeaway restaurant lacks character and felt more like a hot buffet take out. The flavour was basic and for some strange reasons they cut about an inch off from the tail end of tempura prawns which was disappointing to watch. I would not be rushing back.

Brilliant food as always. Reasonably priced food, which is quick to grab, in a multi-cultural food spot. The Katsu curry is always a hit, and I never deviate!!! I wish this restaurant luck here, and it’s good that they now provide delivery through the Shed!

We were in Bordon to watch our young grandson having an evening swimming lesson at the leisure centre adjacent The Shed. As a family we decided to grab something to eat from The Shed as there’s a few food outlets inside, including a Pub area. The majority of us decided to try Siam Oishi and have to say we weren’t disappointed. Staff were friendly and helpful in assisting us deciding what to have. Prices may seem a bit on the high side (see my menu pic for info) but don’t let that put you off as portions are large and could easily provide for a further snack. We all opted for rice to accompany but next time I’ll give the noodles a try. There’s plenty of seating if you don’t want to eat at home but due to the warehouse nature of The Shed it can feel chilly. Visited on 20 February 2023
