Poppadoms and dips were a good start and this earned the star, unfortunately the main meal was unedible. One curry had chips for potato and had lots of sugar, like an overly sweet korma with no spice. The 2nd curry had lots of lime pickle and no spice, it couldn't be eaten as the pickle flavour overpowered the dish, it was rated as hot but had no spice.The next day there was an overwhelming garlic taste left in the mouth from having only eaten a few mouthfuls.Spent a lot of money and only ate popodoms and dips. This isn't Spice House its Garic and Sugar house.

My Indian takeaway of choice, everything has always arrived hot and extremely tasty. They make a superb lamb Rogan and the keema naan is outstanding, but its the Onion Bhaji that are incredible! Order, eat, enjoy!!

We ordered from this place and the food was beyond awful. Inedible and not cooked yet absolutely dripping with oil. It was all binned. The samosas looked ok so tried and was poorly for two days. If you value your health and digestion AVOID.

Amazing! Ordered a take away on a busy Friday night and after receiving our order I realized I completely forgot to order our rice! Mortified I called up apologetic asking if I could order and pick up soon before our food gets cold. I was met with a very warm and understanding voice telling me to just come get my rice charge free! When I shortly arrived at the counter to pick my rice, everyone was very welcoming and friendly, handing me my rice with a bottle of beer, wishing me a great evening!We have now absolutely demolished all the delicious food! Will definitely order again! (Won’t forget my rice this time ??)

First time we have used Spice Lounge we have always used our local Indian takeaway and were very disappointed with our last meal so we decided to make a change.The choice we made was excellent will use again.Excellent flavours and value for money.I have phoned Spice Lounge and told them how pleased we were with our mealKeep up the good work.Would recommend to all who live near to Whitehill.

Food is always piping hot and really good flavouring. Have yet to find a better takeaway. They can get busy at times with long waits. So order early.

Food was slow to arrive, very salty & one of the dishes had been replaced with something we couldn’t eat. I called to ask how we could fix this, the response was incredible (like a previous reviewer). He asked me why I hadn’t answered his call, he was fairly rude about it too (we hadn’t had a call). He refused to refund the £12 incorrect dish, but worse, told me to leave it outside for collection! And then put the telephone down in me. would you want to eat at a restaurant that talks about recycling another customers incorrect dish ??!!!I would never eat here again.

This was our second time ordering, and based on both experiences, we unfortunately won't be ordering again. The first time the Euros were on, so I expected some delay. 1hr 50 mins later, dinner finally showed with no mention of the delay. One dish was incorrect and another was so salty so as to be inedible. We gave it another shot - last night's order was also a little slow (given I ordered at 6pm on a Monday evening) and took over an hour to arrive. The dhal had two big pieces of grit in where the lentils hadn't been washed thoroughly, which my husband and I both found with our teeth. Sparing myself a hefty dentist bill by not ordering from here again - a real shame given the variety of vegan options available.

Ordered a takeaway tonight i was so impressed all the order was correct and every dish was piping hot each curry tasted lovely great flavours!! I hardly ever leave reviews but i just had to we all really enjoyed our meal tonight.

Order arrived over an hour late 3 hours after originally ordering it . Order incorrect , overcharged and meal was cold will never order from here again I gave them A chance to explain or apologise by email but never heard back £33 of inedible food cheers
