I went here for a family lunch just before Christmas and I was very disappointed in the meal I was given. On the table we ordered 3 burgers, 2 from main menu and one from the children's menu. To my surprise one of the main burgers was the same size as the children's burger and when I tried to raise this with staff they said the other adult burger has been squashed. This is an obvious lie and we were still charged full price. Extremely disappointed.

We have just enjoyed THE BEST Christmas Dinner celebration we have ever had. We were far from easy as this was an outing for the 29 residents of our carehome, loads of issues needed to be overcome, however Chloe and her team couldn't have been more patient and helpful, genuinely wanted us to have a fab time, . The food was amazing, as it always is, and half the price of last year's function. We cannot thank you all enough guys X

I hate giving negative reviews, but I have given a positive review in the past, saying I would be coming back, The staff again were kind and thoughtful, but there was a bit of a wait, which as I was in no rush didn't worry me. the problem was that the food was overcooked and dry on both my wife and my meal. I had the pork, which was shoulder as opposed to rib eye,( I am a butcher ) and the black pudding crumb was so overcooked that you could not even chew on it, My wifes chicken schnitzle was also overcooked and very dry as were her chips. This is a great shame as I feel that it is the pub that will lose out. I don't know if the kitchen were short of staff, or there were other problems, but they do need to be sorted out. I'm sorry again for the poor review, and I will come back, but perhaps at a later date.

Just a really good experience. Cosy environment. Clean, newly refurbished looking facilities. Quick, friendly service. Meals all arrived quickly and piping hot and all was delicious. Really nice selection on the menu. Such a lovely evening. Thank you!

This is a nice pub with good food at a decent price with good Gluten free options. There is a decent amount of parking and friendly staff.

Me and my husband came here for a roast dinner today and it was delicious, easily the best one we've had when dining out. Lovely place with very nice, attentive staff. Will definitely be back more often and bring friends! Thank you!

Nice pub. Well prepared food and good choice of drinks. If you're looking for a romantic night out though, avoid quiz night on Thursdays. If you're looking for a local quiz night, they have one!

Had lunch Thursday 26th October at this pub which I have always found to be generally excellent. However - where are the burgers being sourced from? For £17, I was expecting a quality handmade burger! Disappointing . . . .

We were warmly welcomed. Flowers on the tables is a nice touch. The lunch special is very good value. The service was prompt and the food and drink very tasty. A very enjoyable lunch.
